Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Fuego.
Jasmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The journey to where I am today is a testament to the power of resilience and passion. From an early age, I’ve been captivated by the intersection of culture, art, and storytelling. Two years ago, I made the bold move to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams, landing a role as a creative producer at a tech company. However, when faced with unexpected layoffs, I took it as an opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery through travel. Along the way, I connected with diverse brands and individuals, leveraging my production skills to help them share their stories on social media. Today, I’m privileged to work with brands worldwide, crafting compelling content and social media campaigns that resonate across borders. Additionally, as a travel influencer, I’m dedicated to inspiring others to explore both the world and themselves, providing valuable tips, hacks, and practical tools along the way through my content and eBooks. Through it all, my passion for storytelling remains the driving force behind my journey, reminding me that every twist and turn is just another chapter waiting to be written. Cue Natasha Beddingfield’s ‘Unwritten.’
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Balancing multiple projects while building a scalable business model has been a significant learning curve. However, it’s been an exciting journey of discovering how to prioritize and optimize workflows- I’m learning that working hard and working smart are different, and I’d much prefer to work smart. Additionally, ensuring that content for my personal brand remains engaging and valuable to my growing online community is also a challenge.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
As a content producer and creator, I specialize in helping brands authentically connect with their audience through engaging storytelling. My work revolves around crafting compelling narratives that resonate with viewers across various industries. While I believe my proudest moment is yet to come, I recently had the honor of collaborating with Sir John, creative director for Kilian Paris and renowned makeup artist to Beyoncé, during Paris Fashion Week. The experience not only allowed me to work alongside an accomplished creative but also provided me with invaluable insights into the fashion and beauty industries. I think what sets me apart is my diverse and extensive experience, which enables me to adapt and thrive in any creative environment.
How do you think about luck?
Luck has undoubtedly played a significant role in both my personal and professional life, especially in the initial stages of my career. There were moments when being in the right place at the right time and meeting the right people opened doors and paved the way for incredible opportunities. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize that luck’s influence diminishes over time. While it may provide opportunities, success ultimately hinges on diligence, dedication, and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships. Luck may open doors, but it’s the hard work, follow-through, and reliability that enable me to walk through them and turn opportunities into tangible achievements.
