Rising Stars: Meet Ja’marius Leaphart

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ja’marius Leaphart.

Hi Ja’marius, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my business back in 2020. I just got out of a season of depression and I really felt like there was nothing to live for. Once I had that epiphany that I am worthy of it all, I started walking in my true purpose. My brand is all about guiding others to their true purpose to looking at life through the lens of accountability and growth.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
HAHA! That’s like saying life is easy. And we all know that is NOT true! I always felt like because of my age, I was not worthy or I was not good for anything. I felt inadequate. I realized that my gifts were just as important and needed as anyone else’s. I had to change my mindset before I really got into what I needed to do.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a creative. I create! I am the creator of the Bosses Circle which is a talkshow on Facebook that highlights small businesses and talk about issues in the world. I am also a podcast host of turktalks. And I also am a content creator and influencer. I am an author of two ebooks which is about businesses and mindset. I am different because I am authentically me. I don’t let society or social media determine how I move or how I create. I create solely based off of where my heart is and how I feel. I don’t let the media determine my worth.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk taking is the ultimate goal of my life. I love being a risk taker. I’d go broke taking a risk of making more money, haha. I’ve always been a risk taker since I was a child so it’s nothing new to me actually. One thing I love about taking a risk is that you can only win. You can’t lose because you’re going to gain that back one way or the other. TAKE THAT RISK!
