Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Garcia
Isaac, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
God is great!
During COVID I had gotten furloughed from my job as a chef. I decided to do cooking videos on my phone. During that time I was creating music for an artist, he needed photos & video content done also. So I took the opportunity and invested in a camera. Ever since then I was shooting it all; lifestyle, portraits, food, artists. Which started my interested in capturing stills & video.
Roughly 2 1/2 years later I decided to pursue it full time rather than as a hobby I enjoy. I’ve met many interesting people & learned an abundance of things.
Now I create media for food and beverage Hospitality establishments, as well as consulting in “creative direction.” Soon I will be branching into music and art media.
I am definitely still learning and developing my skills as I cultivate more media. My favorite part is that I am also enjoying the process as I work towards reaching my goals.
And for anyone reading this, just know there’s only two things that will separate you from the rest. Always show up and bet on yourself.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Seeing it as a hobby, it’s always smooth sailing.
Once you need to make money to survive and doing what you love is when it gets a bit rough.
But as long as you have faith in God, and bet on yourself, everything will fall into place.

I create media that revolves around stills videos to designing logos and sound design.
I’m definitely proud of the progress that I’ve made so far. I feel like once you are in good terms with yourself mentally and spiritually nothing outside the material form can bother you.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
As Shia LaBeouf would say “Just do it”

One of the best pieces of advice that I received was to reach out to somebody doing the content you want to do and ask them if they need an assistant coordinator or any type of help. This will allow you to learn from them and get a mentor while being motivated to work.
Apply faith + self discipline + a mental positive attitude = guaranteed success.
