Today we’re excited to be connecting with Gwendolyn Osborne again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Gwendolyn, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
I’m an actor, speaker, wellness influencer, I’ve worked in television as a model on TPIR for twelve years and I’ve worked as a powerful Amazonian in the multi-award winning feature film Wonder Woman 1984, – that was the job, really, that connected my personal life and professional career for the first time. I believe it was put in my life to remind me of who I am and what I am capable of. After building myself back to who I was meant to be, I came back from set revived, refreshed and confident to take on my acting career full time. It also encouraged me to motivate my instagram family to #getupandmove everyday!
With philanthropy always being a huge part of who I am and knowing what’s it’s like being a single mum, I advocate through my work with SHE IS HOPE LA for women and mothers to prioritize their health, wellbeing and finding their voice and power within.
Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
The projects I’ve been most excited about working on are Grownish, playing the lead in a feature film that is on Amazon Prime Video, working with Tyler Perry’s amazing production team through a recurring role currently streaming on BET+. I’ve also been so grateful that I’ve just recently been able to make it to the other side of a major move from LA to move to the OC for my children’s schooling – I feel blessed to be able to find a way to successfully balance my role as a mother, while also looking forward to the opportunities that are possible staying active in the LA film industry.
We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?
