Rising Stars: Meet Faith Morey of Pasadena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Morey

Hi Faith, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The journey of the Okachi Charity Foundation is deeply personal and rooted in a profound belief that education is the key to breaking cycles of poverty and transforming lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the stark disparities in access to quality education, particularly in underserved communities. That reality stayed with me, shaping my perspective on service and responsibility.

When I founded the Okachi Charity Foundation, it wasn’t just about philanthropy—it was about creating sustainable change. We started with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide early-age education support to public schools in Nigeria, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a future.

The journey has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling. From working with passionate educators to engaging with communities and developing programs that directly impact students, every step has reinforced our commitment. What began as a vision has grown into a movement, touching lives and proving that when you invest in a child’s education, you invest in the future of an entire community.

Today, as we continue to expand our reach, the goal remains the same—to uplift, empower, and create pathways for success through education. The work is never finished, but knowing that we are making a difference is what drives us forward every day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey of the Okachi Charity Foundation has been deeply fulfilling but not without challenges.

One major obstacle is the severe lack of infrastructure and resources in public schools, making it difficult to meet the overwhelming demand for support. Changing mindsets has also been crucial—education is a long-term investment, but in struggling communities, immediate survival often takes priority. Building trust and demonstrating real impact has been essential.

Funding remains a challenge as well. Long-term change requires sustained support, yet many funding sources are short-term. Despite these hurdles, our commitment remains unwavering. Every challenge fuels our determination to create lasting educational opportunities for the children who need them most.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work is a reflection of my values—grace, resilience, and impact. As a philanthropist, entrepreneur, mother, and public figure, I balance multiple roles, but at my core, I am dedicated to creating lasting change, especially in education. Through the Okachi Charity Foundation, I work to transform the lives of children in underserved communities by providing essential school resources and improving learning environments. Education is the foundation of opportunity, and I am passionate about ensuring every child has access to it.

Beyond philanthropy, I have built a career in fashion and business, founding Morey Faith Collections, a brand that embodies sophistication and accessibility. My presence in the entertainment industry, particularly through The Real Housewives of Lagos, has further amplified my ability to inspire and advocate for causes close to my heart.

Above all, I am a mother to my incredible son, Ethan Morey, who will soon turn 14. Motherhood is my greatest role—it has taught me patience, resilience, and the depth of unconditional love. Watching Ethan grow has been my most rewarding journey, shaping me into the woman I am today.

What sets me apart is my ability to navigate multiple industries while staying true to my purpose. I am most proud of the impact I have made—whether through empowering young minds, building a fashion empire, championing sustainability in the energy sector, or raising a strong, compassionate young man. Every endeavor I take on is rooted in a deeper mission: to uplift, inspire, and leave a legacy of excellence and service.

What does success mean to you?
To me, success is impact—creating meaningful change in the lives of others while staying true to my purpose. It’s seen in the children gaining access to education through the Okachi Charity Foundation, in the confidence women feel wearing Morey Faith Collections, and in the legacy I build every day.

As a mother, success is raising my son, Ethan, to be kind, driven, and fearless. It’s about balancing ambition with presence and ensuring that my work uplifts others while staying grounded in what truly matters—family, integrity, and service.

Success is a journey, measured by the lives touched and the purpose fulfilled.
