Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandan Munoz.
Hi Brandan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So I grew up as a 90s kid and one of the things I always had a passion of is Disney content and the Disneyland resort. Also, I had a passion in universal pictures in Universal Studios Hollywood one being that Jurassic Park was something I was very excited about when I was a kid growing up and then you know, Harry Potter, even though it’s Warner Brothers seen my childhood being brought to a theme park was incredible. Disney on the other hand, going to Disneyland and being that I felt a special connection knowing that walking down Main Street is where Walt Disney himself walked around every single day when he was there in a life and after a while, watching YouTube, and seeing these content, craters cover the theme parks, whether it was Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knotts Berry Farm or even the Universal Studios Orlando parks I mean, I want to get in on the success of others and tell my own version of what I experienced at the parks as a adult and kind of reminisce a little bit of memories when I was a kid so I think that is why I share the passion in love for what I do
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth process, but I push myself through the struggles of my 9 to 5 job figuratively because I work a full-time job for Costco wholesale as a forklift operator and balancing my personal life with filming content whether I am in studio or I am on location at one of the theme parks or I’m filming content with friends that is the constant struggle I deal with and also going to all these events, but like I said, I push myself through it because I feel that it’s something I enjoy where I can kinda be creative on what I film what I cover and showcase it to the world showcase it to my community and that’s what I truly truly love so has it been a smooth road? No, it has not has there been struggles absolutely but I do it because I love the passion the creativity and just the immersive of what theme park content brings to my life.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So what I do on my off time is I cover SoCal theme parks being Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood I have dabbled into the Orlando theme parks, which is Walt Disney World or Universal Studios Orlando however I am SoCal based and what I try to do for my work is covering the updates at the parks and telling it in my own version and kind of just keeping the content very minimal on editing because I have always stated when I started theme park conductor on YouTube and on social media is that I was gonna post content that was just very natural with very little editing and I think that’s what sets me apart from a lot of other content careers that cover the theme parks because it’s nothing wrong with their content, but it seems very production heavy compared to my words. It’s just kind of like I’ll throw it together and if I make mistakes in the video, I just let it go because I kind of realize with AI happening and it’s only involving more and more. I mean, I want people to understand that I’m human. I’m not a robot. I’m not AI so if I could put content out that is just basically film no editing and upload that is my whole goal of my channel and I have been praised by so many people that has messaged me like on social media saying that we love your content because it’s not a production it’s not lights camera action. It’s more of you film and you upload you make mistakes that’s fine. We still love it.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Well, the mentor aspect of my contact ration for the theme park conductor platform is the fact that just watching other content creators over the years and having them put their content out and me learning from it and then also having friends that helped me with the content at times also helps so it’s really a tight community and I mean we all kind of club in a way where we talk to each other. It’s not that we do videos with each other all the time, but I mean, we all share the same passion, one way or another and we like to tell our story and put our version out there on social media on YouTube in the world to tell it in our own way and not someone else’s way
