Meet Valerie Calderon of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Calderon.

Hi Valerie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi Im Val, AKA charmingvalerie and I’m 18 years old, and I’ve loved creating content ever since I was little. I’ve always loved being creative, being in front of the camera, and sharing parts of my life with others. As I’ve gotten older, content creation has become so much more than just posting for me.

I especially love posting inspirational content and using my platform to help others feel more confident in themselves. If something I post can encourage someone, make them feel less alone, or remind another girl of her worth, that means so much to me. I want my platform to be a positive place where people can feel inspired to be themselves, go after their dreams, and grow into the person they’re meant to be.

A huge part of who I am is also my faith. I give Jesus all the glory for every blessing and every miracle that has happened in my life. I truly believe God has given me this platform for a reason, and I want to use it in a way that reflects Him and helps other people.

From creating content to building my own brand, Charmingdayz, I’m so grateful for everything God has allowed me to experience. I’m still learning and growing every day, but I want to continue creating, inspiring others, building confidence in young girls, and using the opportunities I’ve been given for something meaningful.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Along the way sometimes I felt like not posting all the time or even filming, sometimes taking a break is very good for my mental heath and continuing to be positive everyday by the grace of God I’m sp grateful!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a content creator, and I’ve loved creating content ever since I was little. Being able to turn something I’ve always been passionate about into what I do today is really special to me.

My content is centered around lifestyle, fashion, beauty, inspiration, and confidence. One of the biggest things I want people to take away from my platform is encouragement. I love creating content that inspires other girls to be confident, believe in themselves, express who they are, and go after the things they dream about.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the community I’ve been able to build. Knowing that something I post can make someone feel more confident, inspire them, or simply make their day a little better means so much to me. I’ve had my own struggles with confidence and comparison, so being able to use those experiences to help someone else is something I’ll always be proud of.

I think what sets me apart is that I genuinely care about having a purpose behind what I create. I don’t want my platform to only be about how things look on the outside. I want people, especially young girls, to leave my page feeling better about themselves and reminded of their worth.

Most importantly, my faith is at the center of everything I do. I give Jesus all the glory for every opportunity, blessing, and miracle that has happened in my life. As I continue growing, I want to stay true to myself, stay grounded in my faith, and use the platform God has blessed me with to make a positive impact on others.
