Meet Troy Zeigler of santa monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Troy Zeigler.

Hi troy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
lmnl started as a dream to create a space for sound creatives to feel inspired and at home. at the end of 2019, we began developing the plan for a new studio complex in santa monica. over the course of the following three years, we applied those plans to the build out of lmnl studios. Currently, our facility houses 27 independent recording spaces for artist who work in sound mediums; writers, engineers, producers, podcast, musicians, film scorerrs, composers, and the like. .

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
honestly, the biggest obstacle was the actual build out of our complex. It was a long and drawn out process, having to deal with the city of santa monica, and the bureaucracy there in.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As a musician myself, I made extra certain that the attention to detail and finishing touches of all of our individual Studios is to the highest quality. We make sure that our space is inviting, our rooms are inspiring, and each environment sounds immaculate. our A Studio (daily Studio) is replete with everything amazing and compelling, gear wise, under the sun.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
absolutely. My advice would be to remain dedicated to your vision and to be consistent. Always work hard and show up and you’ll have successes.
