Meet Sugar Panbehchi of Be Crystal Clear in West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sugar Panbehchi.

Sugar, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m an energy and vibrational coach and the creator of Be Crystal Clear Wellness & Sound Healing Center in Los Angeles.

I was a highly intuitive sensitive child and I remember from a very young age that I loved nothing more than to help and take care of people. I understood empathy at a very young age and I felt compassionate towards other people’s pain, sadness, grief or whatever they would try and hide from others. It was something that felt very normal to me.

My family fled political persecution and violence in Iran in the late 70s, and we settled in the United States to welcoming arms and a very supportive environment. I’m so happy to have called Los Angeles home for the past 40 years.

I’ve worked with my family in the service industry since I was 14 years old. My mother is a chef, we’ve owned three Restaurants in Los Angeles all named Puran’s Restaurant and currently she has one in Los Feliz. I have always loved the hospitality side of the business, being of service and helping people was always where I found the most fulfillment.

The restaurant business was always my mom’s passion and in all those years, I still hadn’t found my dream vision but I always knew I was going to create something huge that would help change and shift many people’s lives and I also knew that it would involve music. You see music has always been with me from the moment I was created. My parents and grandparents always had music on in the house or live bands performing. If there was one thing, I couldn’t live without it was my music.

Summer of 2014, I was pregnant and walked into a crystal shop and took the healer’s card, but I was too sensitive to have a reading so I kept her card thinking I’ll go one day. Three years later, my daughter went to school and I had all this free time on my hands. So on October 9, 2017 I went back into that crystal shop and had a healing session with my beloved healer Nichole, the woman who’s card I had kept for three years.

My life changed in that very first session. She taught me about being an Empath and all about my intuitive gifts. She introduced me to so many books, I was surrounded by crystals and got my first crystal healing sound bath which was the biggest wake up call. I came full circle, since childhood I have had a huge fascination with crystals and collected rocks for years & years. I saw everything that I was supposed to do and came home and created a massive vision board which became Be Crystal Clear Sound Healing Center in Santa Monica.

I met Nichole, Shelley Warren my astrologer and all the girls on October 9, 2017. I made my vision board on January 9, 2018 and I took over a lovely studio space in Santa Monica in June 2018 to create my vision. Nichole told me “Oh sweet pea, you’ve been asleep for 30 years, and now you’ve woken up my little Empath…you’re here to wake up, teach and help heal others.” She was so right because in a very short period of time, I was awakening and gaining so much information. But that wasn’t anything new, it felt like I was just remembering all the things I’ve been so comfortable and good at for centuries, and now it was time for me to bring all of the knowledge and experience and create my dream and vision for a loving high vibe healing center that was going to help change so many people’s lives. Nicole passed away before she was able to experience what I created, but she still watches over me and guides me when I need her.

Throughout my journey the one thing about me that’s never changed is, I have always had a profound love for people and the strong desire to nurture them mentally, physically and emotionally. Be Crystal Clear became a Sound Bath, Reiki Crystal, Breathwork Healing community that has held a lot of wonderful conscious events & workshops. It is home for a lot of people and more than anything, I wish it to transition from a physical studio to a global online community that continues to support anyone who is seeking love and support.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were a lot of challenges to start up the business, from permitting to getting the right mix of classes and practitioners, but all of it is still an amazing learning experience that guides me to hone in on what I can offer to my community to help discover themselves.

I risked everything to create this loving Sanctuary and every detail of the space was filled with so much Love. I’m proud of myself for taking action and seizing the opportunity when it presented itself, not allowing my fear to get in my head, not allowing anyone to talk me out of it because they didn’t understand what I was creating and fighting any obstacle that stood in my way and continuing fix them and move forward with my plans.

Over the past few months the global pandemic forced me to stop providing in-person classes and events in Santa Monica to my local community. COVID may have interrupted and placed a long pause in regards to my physical studio in West LA, but I have come to know that the vibration that created the feeling you got when you stood outside the space, let alone when you entered, was my loving vibration and no one can take that away from me. I have loved brick &mortar businesses since I was a little girl, it’s all I knew, but COVID forced me to go virtual and now I have an amazing global audience and clients that I couldn’t possibly make the time for if I was still operating a physical location. I’m really blessed and super-excited to now be able to connect with like-minded people from all over the world that resonate on the same frequency of love and overcoming challenges to better ourselves.

Then on a horrific Sunday May 31st, my Santa Monica studio was violently looted and destroyed. Everything was stolen and broken. In the days following the looting I was inconsolable. I felt so violated that people would destroy a space that was created to help heal people, but all I could hear in my head like a broken record over and over again was “Forgive your looters, you need to forgive your looters”. So I did, and I shared online how to cleanse all the crystals they stole, as they had not been cleansed by me, and they were solely there to take all the pain, sadness, grief, trauma and devastation of the people that came to release them all at Be Crystal Clear, and I didn’t want them to have those energies around them. I decided that It would be best to visualize and do a ceremony myself and clear the negative energies of my crystals that were stolen.

I faced a huge obstacle and I lost a loving studio location to COVID and looting, but I don’t look at it that way at all because I impacted so many people’s lives in such a short time and that has been the biggest gift. My loving community has shared so much with me in the past month and I’m so humbled and so grateful to them, everyone is so supportive in helping me transition to a full virtual online platform and away from a traditional brick & mortar business.

As painful, tearful and heart wrenching as it has been I have to say I have found a lot more things to be grateful for, starting with the #1 reason that I get to spend more quality time with my family that I hadn’t been able to do that since 2018 because I worked such long hours at the physical studio. So all I ask is if you’ve been through a lot as well, put on a fresh set of eyes and use all your senses to see, smell, hear, taste, feel and the most important one is to connect with your intuition and perhaps you may feel differently about the horrific circumstances that a lot of us are facing and going through.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Be Crystal Clear – what should we know?
At Be Crystal Clear, I welcome you to release negative blockages physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are all born crystal clear, filled with love, joy, and pure energy, but along the way, life and society shape us and, at times, take away a great deal of that clarity, love and joy. My mission is to help everyone reignite and rediscover their inner selves again, find clarity within and remind them to live their lives with passion and purpose, to be grateful for what they have and to always pay it forward. I am here to help redirect your focus away from all the gadgets/technology you have been absorbed in and awaken your mind, body and spirit through high-vibration Sound Healing, Reiki, Breathwork, dance, yoga, personal coaching, corporate wellness, and much more.

I’ve been fortunate to be invited to events like Boarding for Breast Cancer and the Milken Global Conference to bring Sound Healing to people from all over the world to help them cope with their challenges and bettering the quality of life of our global community.

I’m really excited about the next chapter of my business, to create a virtual online platform to continue to work with my extended global community, private coaching clients, and helping corporations enable their employees. I’m also working on a full set of virtual online Teacher Trainings including Sound Bath Practitioner.

The most important thing is the trust that I build with my clients when clients feel immediate results from a sound bath or healing session with me. Always being empathetic, sympathetic and compassionate towards everyone that I encounter. Giving my clients the truth, Sugar doesn’t Sugarcoat Shit!! And never bullshitting them if I feel I can’t or wasn’t able to help a client, I will help them find the right person for them; it hasn’t happened yet but if I feel I am not the right fit for someone I will move mountains for that person and find them the help they need to get.

What sets me aside from others is my nurturing vibe and loving personality I give my clients my complete undivided attention and being a highly intuitive person I am always giving my honest & transparent insight to my clients and they not only appreciate it but are often in shock that I’m able to know things that I couldn’t possibly know about them.

In addition to my natural intuitive senses and healing abilities, I’ve become a certified Sound, Reiki, Crystal & Breathwork Practitioner and I love to help my clients reconnect with their mind, body and spirit on a very personal level. I’m also a Certified NLP Practitioner, Life and Success Coach, EFT Practitioner, TIME Techniques Practitioner, and it is my passion to empower you, nourish you and help you on your journey to be the best version of yourself. It’s time for you to reignite and rediscover your inner authentic self, find clarity within, and come home to your inner core to remember what it feels like to Be Crystal Clear.

If you had to start over, what would you have done differently?
My father always taught me in life you will face many things, it’s how you show up and stand up & face the consequences that define who you are.

If you have experienced anything that is similar to my experiences in the past few months, I encourage you to take a step back, take a few long deep breaths, reevaluate the obstacle that has presented itself and try to find the silver lining, focus on the positive, gather your tribe around you, and find new opportunities.
