Meet Stefan Apostolov of Zonia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefan Apostolov. He and his team shared their story with us below:

Stefan Apostolov is a lifestyle coach and award-winning filmmaker specializing in highly impactful video content. He is also the director and producer of the Academy Awards-qualifying short film “Life in Four Seasons.”

Stefan has dedicated his life to building healthy habits and adopting a good nutrition and exercise regime. Through Zonia, he wants to inspire widespread change and help people reach their highest potential in all areas of life, starting with their health.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a 100% self-funded health & wellness streaming platform with the mission to help improve the lives of millions of people is not an easy task.

I’ve failed many times but each failure taught me an important lesson that helped me continue moving forward.

My life has been moving three steps forward, then a challenge comes that pushes me back two steps, but because I learned something in my effort to overcome it, I can move three steps forward again with greater efficiency and understanding of what’s to come.

This process repeats every day. Not only do I refuse to let it stop me, but it empowers me to make better, more intentional choices that keep me always moving forward in life.

That’s the mindset I bring to Zonia, and what I want to share with the world. No matter how great the obstacle is, we are all capable of rising to meet it and overcoming it.

I’m proud to say my team and I have improved the health and lives of hundreds of thousands of people so far and the number keeps growing day after day.

We’ve been impressed with Zonia, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
You’ve probably heard this so many times, but LA has the best weather in the world! I love it.

I love the diversity of people in LA as well as the diversity of cuisine. You can sit at a coffee shop and start a conversation with a random person and it’s the most normal thing in the world to do.

You can walk outside with a halfway-unbuttoned shirt showing some skin and no one judges you. I like that. It makes me feel like I belong, no matter where I’m from.

I love the hikes in LA as well the beaches.

What I don’t like about the city is the terrible traffic (who does! Lol) but you find your ways around it.
