Meet South Central Photographer: Ralph Indigo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ralph Indigo.

Ralph, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started doing photography around 3 years ago. One of my close friends was doing a photo shoot and asked me to tag along. There was an extra camera that I used to take behind the scenes photos with. After reviewing the photos, I instantly knew that I wanted to create. A week later I went and purchased my own camera and I haven’t looked back since.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being a creative of any kind isn’t as easy as it looks. You spend a lot of time perfecting your craft, trying to create the best images for either yourself, your clients, or social media.

Have you ever felt like giving up?
Being an independent artist always has its ups and downs. I remember the first time I tried to go independent and freelance and it was so hard being that I didn’t have too many clients.

What advice do you wish to give to those thinking about pursuing a path similar to yours?
Be prepared! Don’t ever expect anything to be handed to you. You have to work for everything.

What are you most excited about these days?
Positive vibes. I’m looking forward to being around nothing but growth and positivity.
