Today we’d like to introduce you to Slim KuttaR

Hi Slim , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was always involved in music and entertainment but on the business side then in December 2016 I had a conversation with a few close friends and decided to step from behind the camera and go in front, which was the birth of Slim KuttaR the rapper, which is now a multiplatinum, hip-hop artist and songwriter.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest obstacle was convincing people that I’m a actual rapper meaning in terms of business colleagues within the industry, but once people heard my music mainly fans it won everyone over and made it a easier transition.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My music is very relatable to the everyday 9 to 5 worker. I call the grown folks recessed because no matter where you at in your life it gives you a great escape from whatever stresses you may be experiencing at that time and if you are in a good space it keeps you there. Aside from having a record that’s 4x platinum and counting, having my name in the credits of a major motion picture and on the soundtrack, a few other major sync and licensing placements, been able to tag along with Hiphop Legend Juvenile while he’s on tour, and most recently signing a partnership with Big Noise a very notable music firm headed by Al Gomes and Connie Watrous, my biggest joy is the smile on people faces after listening to my music.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Too many to name, I was blessed to have a loving, caring childhood something I don’t take for granted.
