Meet Singa B of TRE Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Singa B. Him and his team share his story with us below.

Please kick things off for us with some background on the story.
Singa B, born Nersinga Bromfield in Washington DC, was raised up in Memphis TN since the age of two weeks old by his mother. Singa is the youngest of seven children. Since the age of five Singa has been heavily involved in music. He began his journey teaching himself how to play “Greensleeves” on a casio piano, proving to his mother that he was serious. Being impressed by Singa’s determination his mother enrolled Singa into violin lesson. Through this transition Singa evolved into teaching himself how to play the guitar by the age of thirteen years old. While in middle school, Singa wrote & published his first copywritten song, which is the alma mater for his middle school. While in high school he wrote, arranged, and produced his first solo album “Late Night Jam Sessions”.

Towards the end of his high school years, he toured internationally to Australia with his band, the STAX Academy SNAP. While graduating high school, Singa was accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Since being out of school, Singa has recorded produced & released over ten Studio Albums, two LIVE Albums, one documentary, is the CEO of his own Record Label – TRE Productions, the COO of his nonprofit organization “Gardens Art Life”, has created a media group, and is the creator of an urban clothing line. Today Singa is working alongside with co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records Dame Dash, producing a new album under the BluRoc Records label.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth journey!! I wouldn’t consider calling those obstacles along the way “Struggles”, but they have definitely been hurdles in this marathon like Nipsey would say. All of the obstacles were destined for me to cross paths with anyways. Interruptions like those truly are what define who you are or who you are not. I feel that everyday is a new challenge or a new advancement in the industry that we all have to learn from and or readjust to. So staying in the fight is the main obstacle for me!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TRE Productions LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
TRE Productions is a Record Label, Clothing Line, Video Productions Company, Artist Development Business, and houses a roster of creatives around the globe. I specialize in digital graphics, video editing, fashion, composition, music & video production, and so much more! I wear a lot of hats!! This October 31 marks ten years solid for TRE Productions. Some of the things that set me apart from the others would be my consistency, my diligence, my raw talent, my determination, my drive, my passion, my faith in GOD.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
With the mark of my 10th year anniversary, I’m currently working alongside legends like Dame & Kanye, so I predict that in five years, I’ll be apart of a major recording deal, touring around the globe, and creating CEOs. In ten years, I see myself owning multiple businesses and innovating the current industry! I have a lot of dope inventions…. so We’ll see how things will turn out!!
