Meet Shyloh Grey of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shyloh Grey

Hi Shyloh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a big family in Baltimore, Maryland, and I’ve been passionate about music since I was six. It wasn’t until I moved to Los Angeles at 19 that my dreams truly started becoming a reality. Honestly, it took my family pushing me into music and God guiding me in that direction because I was so stubborn at first. Once I finally listened to their advice, everything seemed to fall into place. I was fortunate to have met people in the industry who gave me access to studios, and that’s when I really started working on my craft and making music my reality.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest struggles has been gaining exposure, especially with how much the music industry has changed with the curve of technology and social media. It’s no longer just about the music; it’s also about constantly engaging online and staying relevant in a fast-paced digital world. On top of that, like many others, I faced economic hardships during the pandemic. It put a lot of things on pause and created uncertainty. However, those challenges also pushed me to get creative and find new ways to connect with my audience and keep working on my craft.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a singer and songwriter, and I specialize in pop and R&B music. What I’m known for is my ability to convey emotion through my lyrics and melodies, bringing a sense of vulnerability and authenticity to every song. I’m most proud of my growth as an artist, from discovering my passion as a child to working in studios in Los Angeles. What sets me apart is my unique journey, coming from a big family in Baltimore and being guided by both my family and faith. I bring that personal connection to my music, making sure that everything I create is not only relatable but also deeply personal.

What are your plans for the future?
I’ve been working on a few exciting projects that I can’t reveal too much about yet, but they include both television and music-related experiences. I’m really looking forward to expanding my creative horizons and seeing where these new opportunities take me. I’m always looking to grow and push myself further, and these projects are definitely going to do that. Stay tuned—there are some big things in the works, and I can’t wait to share them when the time is right.
