Meet Sherman Oaks Fitness Expert: Shawn Regnier

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn Regnier.

Shawn, founder of Forward Thinking Fitness, has over 20 years of experience in training athletes and nonathletic clients.  He moved to California in 2013 because he had fallen in love with a Californian and has been successfully training Angelinos since then.   He shares with us that even before he became a personal trainer, he loved to help family and friends get more active with exercise. “It’s always been a passion of mine, and there’s nothing quite like seeing the smile on a someone’s face when they achieve a goal they weren’t quite sure they would obtain…priceless.”  Shawn specialized in Corrective Exercise which is important because most people have muscle imbalances or poor posture; anything from slouching, to feet turning out when you walk, to an arch in your lower back. Most of these imbalances are painful, but Shawn says the good news is that much of it is correctable.
