Meet Sam Smith of New Vintage by Sam

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Smith.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sam. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m Wife, a Mother and a Fashion Creative at Heart. After graduating from college, I entertained a few Conventional corporate positions, secured my master’s degree and still felt unfulfilled in the workplace. Just before my nuptials in 2014, I took a huge leap of faith leaving the comfort zone of my cubicle. My company New Vintage by Sam is the visual manifestation of Living outside of the box and authentically represents my evolving social perspective. Although I wear many hats, I’m best known for my style, handcrafted creations, Artsy chic jewelry making workshops and now, #TheStyleCrawl.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing- I’ve learned to appreciate the flow. Learning to juggle various roles in business has been challenging, however, it has allowed me to learn myself more and become clearer about what tasks I can delegate to the team. Finding a balance between work and life was Tricky as well, however; I’ve gotten so much better with time.

New Vintage by Sam provides you with the #HealingHardwear and Armor you need for the journey of life. The energy in each of our products is both infectious and uplifting. We pride ourselves on a company culture of empowerment through Art & Style. In addition to apparel and accessories, we now have a creative consulting sector to help both individuals and businesses redefine their image/story.

I am so grateful for my supportive team of fellow makers and business owners. Sometimes this space can seem a bit isolating but surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals truly helps. I am thankful for my family and friends and their support. I can’t do this alone and I’m so happy for more help to grow.
