Meet Punkmetender

Today we’d like to introduce you to Punkmetender.

Punkmetender, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started from France and 17 years later, I’m based in Los Angeles. I m here today because I believed in my dreams, dedicated my full energy to my passion and a focused discipline.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road is never smooth I believe, but each bumps is a lesson to learn, going to jail, falling and questioning yourself, not listening to good advices, etc… but I believe all this bumps were very important stones to the wall. It creates a balance between success and staying grounded

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I m an artist. I study how feelings react with an image or artistic installation. I have done a lot of street art, but also photography and contemporary art. Recently I have specialized in 3 dimensional artwork, where the viewer can directly interact with the art. Also, I m developing and studying spinning art.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success in my opinion is when inside, you feel that everything you are doing is in the right direction.
