Meet Priscilla Arreguin of San Diego/ LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Priscilla Arreguin

Hi Priscilla, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a creative and outgoing person, especially as a child. I’m originally from San Diego, California, but I moved often and spent much of my childhood in the Inland Empire. Growing up, I competed in California’s Coastal pageantry divisions, frequently participating in the talent portions. I was also involved in theatre, dance, acting, and singing. As I grew older, I put some of my artistic passions aside—until the pandemic hit in 2020. During the lockdown, I dedicated time to teaching myself how to paint, reigniting my passion for creating and rediscovering it as an outlet!

As I neared the end of university, I finally devoted my time dive back into my creative pursuits. This ranged from teaching art classes to modeling for local brands and photographers. Over the past year, I’ve focused on modeling, content creation, brand collaborations, and art. This is only the beginning of the journey and I’m so excited to see where it leads!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most journeys worth taking, it hasn’t been smooth. If it were, I believe it wouldn’t be as meaningful. My path to rediscovering my craft has been anything but straightforward. One key lesson I’ve learned, and continue to apply, is patience. Years ago, I had an idea that I wanted to pursue a career in the creative and fashion industries, but I had my doubts. Society doesn’t always view these paths as reliable or realistic, which made me hesitant. But eventually, I realized I wanted to dictate my own path. This meant silencing the doubts I had about my capabilities. I’m glad I pushed through that inner voice, and every so often, I still need to remind myself to keep pushing forward.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m proud to say that I’m known for being an all-around creative. My journey includes a diverse range of experiences in content creation, both for my personal craft and for producing User-Generated Content (UGC) for brands. As a freelance artist, I’ve also had the privilege of teaching Paint and Sip classes with Painting and Vino, alongside the talented Nataly Manary, in beautiful San Diego County.

While I engage in many creative pursuits, I would say that I am primarily recognized for modeling. For me, modeling goes beyond simply showcasing clothes or photos; it’s a powerful form of artistic expression that allows me to embody a variety of concepts and emotions. This passion connects deeply with my love for fashion and enriches my creative process.
I aim to create content that resonates with themes of beauty, self-development, and personal growth. I am committed to sharing this empowering message with my audience, and even if my work touches just one person, I consider that a success. My goal is to promote authenticity and share inspirations that truly move me, and I hope that by doing so, I will set myself apart from others.
I take pride in having the courage to pursue a career in this dynamic industry, and I hope my journey inspires others to follow their own dreams, no matter how big or seemingly out of reach they may be.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
I firmly believe in the saying, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” No matter what path you choose to pursue, if you stay committed and persistent, success will eventually follow. If I could offer my past self a piece of advice, it would be to embrace the journey and trust the process more—a lesson I’ve learned to appreciate over the years. Yes, it can be intimidating, but I wholeheartedly believe in tackling the things that scare us. I often remind myself that the greatest opportunities and experiences lie just beyond our fears. It’s all about taking that leap of faith, daring to take risks, and continuing to move forward until you build your confidence. Improvement comes with practice, even in areas where you once felt unsure. So whatever your fear may be, confront it with courage—and just do it!
