Meet Pedro Espronceda of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pedro Espronceda

Hi Pedro, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in 2016 when a colleague and friend unexpectedly purchased a camera. Initially, I didn’t understand the motivation behind it, but soon he introduced me to a new world of photography—one I had never been exposed to before. He showed me photographers on Instagram who captured rooftop shots and created unique art that fascinated me. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try and purchased a Canon Rebel T3.

I started photographing around Houston and sharing my work on Twitter. To my surprise, my posts quickly gained traction, and my content resonated with the local community. Before I knew it, even news outlets began sharing my photos. The feedback was incredibly motivating and inspiring.

A year later, I traveled to Los Angeles to see what opportunities my craft could bring. What followed exceeded my expectations—I had the chance to meet and collaborate with influencers I had admired for years. As they shared the images I captured, my Instagram gained substantial attention from a diverse range of people.

I never imagined that photography would open so many doors—from being flown to various cities to going on tour with an artist. It’s been an unexpected and incredible journey. Today, I’ve officially moved to Los Angeles to fully immerse myself in this dream and continue connecting with others in the creative community. The experience has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been numerous challenges along the way. At times, I felt that the people I hoped would support me were absent when I needed them most. Financial difficulties also posed a significant obstacle. However, I made the most of what I had and pushed forward. There were moments when I considered giving up, but I continually reminded myself of how far I had come and that quitting wasn’t an option. It was often a mental struggle, but I’m proud to say I prevailed in those battles.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work encompasses a diverse range of styles, from cinematic and lifestyle to storytelling and concert photography. I aim to incorporate a variety of elements to create a well-rounded and dynamic approach.
Im mainly proud that as you scroll down my page you can see how much I’ve grown as an artist

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I definitely see myself being involved more in the music industry or in movies
