Meet Patrice Johnson of Patrice Monét in Torrance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrice Johnson.

Patrice, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am the proud owner of Patrice Monét Accessories where I created hand painted earrings, and handmade charm bracelets. All of my earrings are made from unfinished wood, however, I will soon be making earrings out of clay. I started creating my own jewelry about a year or two ago.

The idea came about because I began to get really frustrated going from store to store and not being able to find exactly what I’m looking for. I love very unique, large, and exotic pieces when it comes to jewelry.

So I decided to create the ideas that were in my head, and before I knew it, I had a successful jewelry line. It is very exciting creating different patterns and shapes, it has become one of my favorite things to do. Now I can’t stop creating!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This has definitely been a learning experience. I won’t lie and say the road has been easy, but I am enjoying the journey. I know that it all businesses start somewhere and I am just taking everything in, learning as I go.

Continuing learning from those around me, and figuring out my niche. However, I am ready to for any obstacle that I may encounter because I have a great support system behind me, which has helped to make this journey feel easier.

Patrice Monet Accessories is a handcrafted jewelry company that specializes in made to order, unique and customized jewelry.

What sets this jewelry company apart is that the jewelry is made from raw, unfinished wood that is hand painted with unique patterns and designs. Each piece of jewelry is created to help express the personality of those that choose to wear them.

The thing that I am most proud of is the support of friends and family. I have received a great deal of support from them, and it has filled with me with pride to know that my creations are being well-received by both my loved ones and the world at large.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck. I put my faith in the Lord, and I believe He has blessed my business to prosper. I keep my faith in God and continue to put in hard work while loving what I do.

I truly believe that none of this would have been possible without God and I am amazed every day about what He has done for me, and I am excited to see what He does next in my life.
