Meet Pascale Storms of Jaunts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pascale Storms.

Hi Pascale, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My career began in Antwerp, Belgium, where I grew up. I was surrounded by great fashion designers. So naturally, the fashion business felt like my calling.

My employer in Europe sent me to NY for two years before I moved to LA in 2005. I worked as an Interior/Store Designer/Decorator and freelanced as a Fashion Stylist.
I began working for a denim company as a visual merchandiser in 2007, and after two years I managed the Store Design Department.

I opened my store Jaunts in December of 2016 in the beautiful quaint Downtown Torrance, CA neighborhood.

Due to the pandemic, I start focusing on my website where you get the feel of the store and had zoom events, one one one zoom styling sessions … fashion shows, sip & shop what I normally do every 3rd Thursday of the Month at the store, talked about fashion trends, outfits, how to accessorize and much more to make it a fun educational experience for my customers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall it’s been a great and fun experience due to my amazing loyal customers, The pandemic of course was challenging for all of us so I had to think of other ways to survive. Zoom -> new arrival parties, fashion shows, one on one styling sessions to name a few etc…

My customers contacted me and asked how they could help… people bought on my website, others bought gift cards or ordered over the phone.

Erika, one of my customers is a coach and gave me free zoom lessons, how to deal with challenges, such as zoom meetings, making videos…

I’m very fortunate to have all those amazing people in my life and keeping my positive cheerful creative attitude.

We’ve been impressed with Jaunts, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a Lifestyle Boutique for the Fashionmonger, Traveler and Explorer and provide a Unique and Curated Selection of Effortless Chic, Sophisticated, Edgy Clothing, Shoes, Bags, Jewelry and Accessories

Working with all different local and international designers, family-owned businesses… being able to pick all styles myself makes Jaunts a more exclusive boutique.

Jaunts Sip & Shop Event, every 3rd Thursday of the Month 6-8pm

Jaunts Sunday Fun Day Event, every 4th Sunday of the Month 9am-3pm.

We offer personal shopping, private one on one styling service, private parties (Birthday, baby shower, bachelorette, girls get together, fun company meeting…)

Offering VIP Box Lay Away – Pay at your own pace, we hold your items until you complete your purchase.

Store Hours Mon-Fri 12-6pm Sat 11-4pm & every 4th Sunday of the Month 9am-3pm.
