Today we’d like to introduce you to My’Key Iso.

Hi My’Key, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in Houston Texas and started making music as a way to express myself. I struggled with vulnerability so music was my outlet. 20 years later I’ve been blessed to perform on many stages, release albums, and so much more. Writing has always been a form of therapy to me. My journey hasn’t been perfect I’ve had to grow through a lot, both personally and professionally, especially learning the business side. The growth really shaped my sound and my message. Right now, I’m in a space where I’m fully stepping into who I am, building deeper connections through my music, and creating with purpose. Everything I’m working on now reflects that evolution.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Many struggles! I’ve at times was going 80 mph while it had speed bumps. I’ve crashed so many times lol. Thats what makes the journey beautiful. I’ve learned you can’t rush to get to the destination, the process has highs and lows. Life is a gridlock, enjoy the traffic.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a hip hop artist and a guitarist. I’m independent and I’m proud of the accomplishments I’ve made on this journey. One of my biggest songs, Candy Coated Dreams pt. 2, is almost at one million streams and I’m grateful. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to translate real experience into my music. I recently released a new song called Picture Perfect, that is about someone I use to date. We use to paint together so I wrote this song describing the love in a artistic way. For me, creating is about connecting with people who can relate to my stories

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My perseverance and faith are hand in hand. I’ve stayed consistent through the ups and downs and continued to trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That’s ehat kept me growing and moving forward.
