Meet Monica Molinar of Ea Sol y Luna in Baldwin Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Molinar.

Monica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Ea Sol y Luna began as a hobby. I have always loved what crystals represent, their energy, their vibrations, and their beauty. One day I decided to begin making wire wrapped jewelry.

A few weeks after, I began doing bracelets and with time I have learned to do earrings, necklaces, and other items like hair combs, little by little as I got more confidence and more experience I decided to dive in into the “pop up/vending” world. My first event was in May of 2018, and I have been doing them ever since.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been smooth, however, I am extremely thankful for the small bumps I have had on my journey. There has been many times where I have doubted myself, but when I hear the feedback from my clients and how much they love what I make for them, it makes me believe in my purpose once again.

Things can’t always be easy, but when I look at what I make and with how much love I make every piece it makes it all worth it!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ea Sol y Luna – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Well, my business is based on natural healing beads/stones. I make bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, hair combs, bookmarks and I recently began introducing natural stone candle holders.

I specialize in making sure all my jewelry no matter which item it is made with the best intentions, with my best and most positive vibes as I truly believe this will make my customers appreciate my art that much more.

I am proud of how far I have come, of the friendships I have made along the way, of the many beautiful souls I have met and I can only hope my company keeps growing and I can keep meeting beautiful people just like I have till today.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
I love my city!!! Our community is strong, it always comes out and supports our small business, and that’s something I wouldn’t change for the world.
