Meet Michele Mosler of The Goddess Within in Newhall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Mosler.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started The Goddess Within 20 years ago. I was in the Music Industry in Production, and during that time was always trying things to help my skin clear up. My father had been a doctor and taught me a lot about the body and absorption, as well as understanding how stress affects the body.

After seven years in the music industry, I decided to listen to my inner guide and take a leap of faith. I became an Esthetician and never looked back. My business is more than skincare. It is place where anyone can come and get centered. Get real. With so much out there and all the sensation of social media it is hard to know what to use, or what procedure to have done. I listen, I connect. I am grateful for being able to “get to go to work.” I am my business. The people that cross my path are intended to be there. This I know!

Whether it is an acne treatment, facial, chemical peel, permanent makeup, or color correction with their makeup……I feel that there is a symmetry to who comes into my shop. I take great care of being present and giving more than a treatment. Many of my clients are now dear friends. The Goddess has brought so much into my life. I am so grateful!. Along the way, I have also incorporated a full-scale boutique. I love shopping for my boutique. I have always had my own style and now I get to share that with the world. I am focused on medical grade skincare that truly transforms the skin, playful fun clothes, lotions, candles, unique jewelry, and more! I am there for my clients. I am so glad that I listened to that still small voice inside me-to create this space. I am always learning and passing on what I learn to my clientele.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When I think back about the journey, of course there were areas of struggle. Mostly believing in me! That is the journey for most of us. How do you quite that fear? Yet when we do, that is when transformation begins. At least thats how I see it. I think the biggest struggle for me, was there were times that I invited the wrong people in..meaning I saw some red flags with employees, and I did not listen right away. Yet I can honestly say that where I stand today, is that I am clear that I would not be where I am today without those struggles. Because of my belief system I think those situations where part of my journey to believe more in me. Self-realization is a gift for all of us!

Please tell us about The Goddess Within.
The Goddess Within is a one on one connection with me and how I treat the skin. Because of my own frustration with my skin, I have truly found what works for clearing up the skin, as well has keeping the skin fresh, glowing, and firm. My skin looks better than ever, and it is hard for me to believe all that I went through in my twenties. I think my specialty lies in thinking outside the box. My expertise is in transforming the skin, as well as permanent makeup. I have a very natural approach to cosmetic tattooing as well as correcting work. I have a keen eye, and I understand the pigments, as well as how it looks once healed on the skin. There are a lot misunderstandings about this aspect of tattooing. I am so happy with the knowledge I can bring to the table and what I can deliver to my clients. I guess my specialty is my approach.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Hmmmmm…. not question myself so much. Be bolder about believing in my vision. Perhaps having more faith in ME 🙂
