Today we’d like to introduce you to Melinda Flatsker.

Flatsker Fine Art Restoration brings over 22 years of European trained experience to antiques and decorative arts that are in need of cleaning, repair, conservation or major restoration.

Founder Melinda Flatsker graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts -Restoration and Conservation Training Institute in 2003. Upon graduation, she worked at The Saint Stephen County Museum in Hungary, where her responsibilities included overseeing and attaining the highest possible standard of conservation, examination, documentation, treatment, research and education of all museum contents.

In 2014, she opened her private restoration studio in California where she services a wide variety of clients in the art industry ranging from art dealers and collectors to private parties.

Flatsker Fine Art Restoration specialize museum quality and invisible restoration and conservation services in LA and surrounding areas. In our studio we repair art whatever it is highly valuable or simply has sentimental importance. With formal training, a background in museum restoration/conservation and over 22 years of professional experience we maintain the highest possible standard of care of your antique, art and artifacts. We examine each work of art closely and make restoration plan to meet both the needs of the art and client. We use only the finest materials and techniques which are found in major museums around the world. We provide free verbal estimates from client emailed pictures with measurement or we are happy to evaluate the cost of restoration in-person at our studio.

What were you like growing up?
Develop the largest and most comprehensive private conservation laboratory in California. I’d like to hire staff members with a wide range of specialization and taking care of the country’s most prestigious private collections, museums, galleries, insurance companies and corporations.
