Meet Marc Christopher of BeautyMarcd in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc Christopher.

Marc, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
When I was in school I won this Photography contest and got the opportunity to work with some major designers in Spain. I lived there for a year and when I got back to the states I got a position with an up and coming makeup company as a Global Makeup Artist. Every season we were doing the fashion shows in NYC and abroad and I was always pushed into doing the lashes and what I saw when I would apply the lashes not only impacted the look in every way but it also excelled my makeup technique… I took many classes on application and would apply on friends and models or whoever would let me. With that BeautyMarcd was conceived!!! With the focus on Styling BeautyMarcd attracts all different types of clients.

Has it been a smooth road?
One of the challenges of being a Global Makeup Artist was the constant of living out of a suitcase and a hotel, Which made personal relationships a little more challenging to maintain. On the plus side, I got to see many parts of the world and develop new lasting relationships and resources.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with BeautyMarcd – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
What sets BeautyMarcd apart from other studios is the focus on the Artistry and Quality. My approach is and always will be on the Styling and the Quality of application and products…. I am most proud of BeautyMarcd’s quick growth in the industry….

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
LA is like no other city! I love the diversity of the people, neighborhoods and restaurants. When I explore all the different neighborhoods as I love to do, I am inspired creatively by so many different scenes, especially fashion… If I had to choose anything the inefficiency of the transit system to other major cities.. of Course what else would I choose. Lol
