Meet Lawrence Lanoff of Soullight Inc in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrence Lanoff.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lawrence. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in a government-subsidized artist housing in NYC in the middle of the 70’s and 80’s – when New York was a much rougher place than it is today. I was exposed to so many different people, experiences, cults, religions, and ideas during this time – including a personal meeting with the Gyalwang Karmapa who told me I could get off the wheel of life within two lifetimes. I also studied with Osho. As a result of growing up with such a sharp view of reality, I consider myself a “rubber meets the road kinda human.” I apply this practical essence to all of my artistic and spiritual skills. I left New York City after college to become a film director. My very first directing gig was directing Charlton Heston and Jimmy Stewart for an AFI anniversary promo.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve studied an amazing array of disciplines. During this time, I also directed 11 movies, wrote eight books and several screenplays and built and ran a successful cosmetic company that did over 20mm a year in sales. I am currently building an AI blockchain company that focuses on the power of big data and AI to help people become financially awake.

Over the past several years, I have also been in the process of refining my radical ideas teachings, leading people into a new kind of freedom, literally deprogramming them from the sleep imposed by cults, religions, and cognitive biases that hamper our experience of reality. What has been evolving is a revolutionary new theory of consciousness that incorporates evolution, symbolism, metaphor, neurobiology, AI and their relationship to healing, spiritual evolution, and blockchain. I love to explore the neural pathways that influence our deepest beliefs about self-worth, sex, health, relationships, and money.

Has it been a smooth road?
Hahahaha. My entire life has been a struggle. From growing up on the streets of NYC without adult supervision, to finding my way as an adult, adversity has been part and parcel to my path. That’s part of what makes me super good and what I do – since I have been battle tested. All of my lessons come from the depth of experience.

My one on one coaching business is a kind of mind explosion that teaches The Art of Radical Self Acceptance. In this sense, I am a guru of human emotional understanding – and ultimately applying that understanding to AI. I lead people into new paradigms of expanded freedom and pleasure – while deprogramming them from the limitations of cultural repression and suppression. The best selling book is A Course In Freedom, I have helped thousands of people embrace Radical Self Acceptance in their daily lives – and coached some very high-level people in the business and crypto community. What sets me apart from other is that I can generally solve most of the hardest problems for people within six months to a year. And I only take on 4-6 students a year so I can give them one on one service. I’m also proud of the fact that I am deeply committed to helping the individuals who really want to break free from the sticky trap of their own minds.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Los Angeles is one of the greatest cities in the world. I tell people that it is a creative vortex, unlike anything we have seen in modern history. What I like least is the traffic – and our inability to walk safely in this city. Drivers are VERY unaware of pedestrians and bikers.
