I am a new small business owner. I created Coastal Promotional Products because it allowed me to tap into my creative teaching side, while pursuing my dream of working for myself. My goal is to be able to spend as much time as possible with my family.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has been relatively smooth. I left my job with Irvine Unified School District to pursue my dream of owning my own business. The startup costs hurt a little, but the ball is rolling now.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Coastal Promotional Products – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a promotional product distributor and proud member of the Advertising Specialty Institute. Promotional products, also known as ad specialties, make up a nearly $22 billion dollar industry and are used by virtually every business in America.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My dad is getting ready to retire from Commercial Real Estate. I am hoping to join forces with him to grow my business. He is an amazing businessman & such an inspiration. I am hoping to have one more child & spend lots of time with my amazing family.
