Meet Jonathan Germano of The Outlet in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Germano.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jonathan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I came to LA with eight hundred dollars, a duffle bag, and a dream on January 29, 2017. I had no car, no job, and did not know a single soul. That night I went to my Airbnb and found myself inspired as I stood atop of Mount Olympus in Hollywood Hills. Empowered by this environment and my vision, I knew I had to find a way to make this my home. The next day the homeowners, a lovely couple in their early 80’s, came to me and said, “Jon you have a gift that will change the world. Would you like to continue to live here and manage a few properties for us until you get on your feet?”. I said yes in a heartbeat and in less than one week in LA I found myself living in an 8-million-dollar mansion which I was able to call home.

Working as manager for this family was only the first big opportunity that I was given this week. Two days later my ex-girlfriend called and asked what I was doing for work and offered to get me a job working at CBS studios in West Hollywood. It just so happened my first big gig was working with James Corden on carpool karaoke. Determined to make the most of this chance to prove myself, I stepped up to the plate. That Friday I started working at Carpool karaoke. Impressed with my work ethic and positive attitude workers and producers on set began to talk. The next thing I knew wave after wave of opportunities started to flow in opening up doors I didn’t even know existed. I networked through the production world and started working red carpet events, feature films, music videos, and commercials.

I found myself focusing mainly on production and within my first year I accomplished goals which I initially thought would be impossible. At times I would want to pinch myself because I thought I was dreaming. After a year of production, I received my executive protection for security and started working as a security guard for Talent and high-end clientele. One day, I was on set with Danny Trejo and the director pulled me aside and asked if I wanted to act in the movie. I refused that first opportunity. After that, I started acting on different feature films. The first time I just didn’t feel ready. I never had an agent or went to acting classes. This all happened in less than 5 months from that day on set with Danny. I received my eligibility credits for SAG which takes some people (actors) years to get. I felt truly blessed! Being on set and working with celebrities allowed me to really get to know these people. I said to myself, “They are the same as all of us. If anything, they actually have more problems in life to deal with” and I kept this mentality through every job I worked. So, I decided to start motivational speaking to them while on set.  Somehow, I was always finding myself in the star wagons (trailers) laughing and having a great time making everyone smile. I had found my gift and my purpose! So many people were inspired by my story. They knew where I came from and how crazy my journey had been up to this point.

Fast forwarding to present day I am now starting a talk show and empowering people to take charge of their lives. COVID-19 has given me the opportunity to purse my business and go out and inspire, influence, and change lives. The growth has been absolutely beautiful, and it keeps on growing. Every day is an upgrade and another step in the right direction! My best advice is to stay hungry (starving), humble, and to love who you are. Each and every one of us has an amazing gift to offer the world so embrace that and love who you are because you matter. My last piece of advice is to treat everyone like family and always smile!

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been far from sunshine and rainbows. I had to juggle five hundred dollars for two years. I worked my butt off to just pay rent in LA as a freelancer. I moved six times in three years. I slept on floors, couches, and my car at times. I also slept in a hotel (The Jolly Roger on Abbot Kinney and Washington) for three months during the first wave of COVID-19. I spent a lot of nights alone and away from people. I did a lot of self-realization. The struggle was real, but I knew growth and success was right around the corner!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Outlet – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My business is to bring people into their power!!! My biggest tools are motivation, inspiration, and self-realization. Teaching people that there is hope and that they can really have anything they want in life if they choose to have it. I teach individuals how to become master manifestors and use the power of their mind to bless their body and soul. Your thoughts and words become your reality whether you realize it or not. I am living proof. My name is Jonathan Germano and I am The Outlet. If you are ready to turn your life around and accomplish your goals then it’s time to plug yourself in and join the movement.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
LA truly is the city of Angels and has blessed my life with nothing but that, angels. What I like most is the weather, the people, and the growth. There is nothing I do not like about LA and feel it constantly working in my favor. There will always be challenges and obstacles with every city, but in LA I feel that there is nothing I cannot overcome and no obstacle that will deter me from my path. My LA family, my vision, and my pure love for life and helping others will allow me to go out and change the world. It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and step into your power.
