Meet JImmy Star

Today we’d like to introduce you to JImmy Star.

JImmy , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I work in many avenues of the entertainment industry …….My company World Star PR has been named best entertainment publicists in the United States along with my partner Eileen Shapiro. I am a published author of 34 books and the creator of the DarkStar Universe. I host 6 Podcasts, The Jimmy Star Show with Ron Russell (1.3 billion downloads), The Indie Sound with Jimmy Star, Dark Frights Horror News with Jimmy Star, AI Filmmaker with Jimmy Star, Collector’s Corner with Jimmy Star and The Darkstar Files. All of my podcasts are in the top 5 of their respective categories on Apple Podcasts. I am also a movie producer with 8 films in development. I have two AI Series The Nightcrawler and Mothman: Red Eyes Rising which have garnered 7 million views in the last 4 months, and am a social media influencer with a little over one million followers in social media.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing has ever been smooth for me….there are struggles every day. I was a successful clothing designer and my showroom property was eminent domained by the crooked government in Florida and I lost every penny I ever made plus $4 million dollars and had to reinvent myself at 48 years old.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am the creator of the DarkStar Universe which is similar to Marvel or DC but for monsters….the first novel is called the Monster Four….and there is a companion book that explains the universe and all the characters in the universe. There are books available on jimmystarauthor.com

What does success mean to you?
Having done very well at an early age, and losing everything to corrupt government officials, I now define success as supporting myself doing something I enjoy doing and that I am excited to do every day….all of my businesses are a ton of fun and I am fortunate to support myself doing things I love.
