Today we’d like to introduce you to Jane Jupiter.
Hi Jane, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Being Jane Jupiter/dreamgrljane is like being the girl that never outgrew the playtime pretend scenario of being a super star or a being a big mix of different quinessential it girl bombshell archetypes. I want to give vintage Hollywood pin up doll , beer poster girl in an 80s college dorm, the Y2k pop star who signs CDS at a local mall. Being a dreamgrl means being YOUR dreamself, the person you always wanted to be. The person you think about being whenever you go to bed at night be that girl in your day to day life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I find myself struggling with two opposite ends of whatever hypothetically spectrum 20 something year olds are moving back and forth from. If I am not drinking and eating away in bed, I am spiraling at the local coffee shop, hungover trying to be the revenge girl to get back at someone who broke my heart. I want to live my truth, live my life. You live, and you learn. I am who I am because I’ve been through the heartbreak, the weight gain, the weight loss, the shitty jobs, the dream jobs that no longer were for me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Just to preface something. It makes me so upset when people minimize their dreams or passions to a title or a level of success they achieve. I am learning not to always say “I want to be” and instead say “I am”. If I were to introduce myself to someone and they were to ask about my career/occupation I would say that “I am a Youtuber and Journalist however I work retail part time” I am proud of trying and caring. I feel like people are afraid to be perceived but you cannot have that fear and then also be sad about not having your dream life. I want to be known for my big heart. There’s nothing that matters more to me than being a kind compassionate person in this world. No amount of money or fame will change that.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Talk to me, start a conversation with me and most importantly engage with my content. I feel like people forget the SOCIAL aspect of social media. I am open to
