Meet Izayah Ramos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Izayah Ramos.

Hi Izayah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started photography at 16 years old. As a person who has always loved art & seeing graffiti, it made me want to capture memories in Los Angeles & especially showing the beautiful scenery it has. When my parents got me my first camera for Christmas all I did almost everyday was go out and explore with friends, find new views and make more memories. Photography is more than just snapping and editing photos, it’s about capturing a lifestyle, a moment and especially making art to show to the world. Growing up, I slowly started getting into automotive photography and used my skills & views to take pictures of cars with a beautiful LA skyline. So far shooting for five years has definitely been such a great experience meeting new people, getting new opportunities & becoming a freelancer. Doing what you love in life is important to me & I will always stand by that. Never give up & keep moving forward! If you want it, you can get it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a freelancer or even just doing photography as a hobby can have some bumps on the road, especially growing up in LA. You are competing with so many other creatives & to really make it a full-time job is very difficult. I always did my very best to stand out from the crowd and do my own thing! Once I stopped caring about numbers and what others thought of my work, everything got much easier & better for me as far as being a freelance creator.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a photographer/ videographer. What I think separates my work from everyone else is that I have my own style of editing. I love cinematic looks, glowy, white and soft lighting. A lot of my followers and friends point that out the most and I think it’s a very unique style I have with my work.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
If you want it, you can get it.
