Meet Grigor Komar of PARK’n GO LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Grigor Komar.

Hi Grigor, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started in 2020 as a valet attendant, learning the business from the ground up. My business partner and I worked together as attendants for another company before taking over two locations and building Park’n GO Valet LLC from there.
We grew by building relationships, earning new contracts, and expanding across Los Angeles, from the Valley to Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Downtown. Today, we have more than 40 employees serving restaurants, cafés, brunch locations, golf clubs, and private events. We’re now expanding into garages and parking structures as well.
Having worked as attendants ourselves, we understand the responsibility that comes with someone handing us their keys. We’re stepping into their personal space: their car, their belongings, and the seat and settings they’ve adjusted for their comfort. They trust us to respect that space, handle their vehicle carefully, and return it as they left it. That trust is at the heart of how I approach this business.
My goal is simple: to welcome every guest the way I would want to be welcomed, with genuine care, professionalism, and high-quality service. From the first greeting to the moment we return their keys, every interaction matters.
As our operations expanded, I also saw the need for better systems behind the scenes. That led me to focus on improving and automating management, ticketing, and daily workflows. The goal is to keep our operations organized as we grow and give our team more time to focus on the guests we serve.
What began with two locations has grown into a company with a much larger team and new opportunities ahead. As we continue building Park’n GO Valet LLC, I want to keep the same hands-on understanding that we started with and bring that level of care to every location and every guest.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest challenges has been moving from doing the work ourselves to managing a growing team across multiple locations. As an attendant, you’re focused on the guests and vehicles in front of you. As an owner, you also have to think about staffing, communication, client relationships, and keeping service consistent when you can’t personally be everywhere.
As we expanded, I saw that the way we managed two locations needed to evolve. Coordinating more employees, tracking tickets, and keeping daily operations organized required better systems. That’s why improving management and automating parts of the workflow have become such an important focus for me.
The challenge is growing while preserving the personal care that helped us build the business. Guests are trusting us with their vehicles and belongings, and our clients are trusting us to represent their businesses. Keeping that responsibility clear across the team is something I continue to work on as Park’n GO Valet LLC grows.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about PARK’n GO LLC?
Park’n GO Valet LLC provides valet and parking services across Los Angeles for restaurants, cafés, brunch locations, golf clubs, and private events. Our team has grown to more than 40 employees, and we’re expanding into garages and parking structures.
We focus on making arrivals and departures feel like a natural part of the hospitality experience. For a restaurant, that means the welcome outside should reflect the care guests receive inside. For a private event, it means planning around the occasion so the host can focus on their guests.
Our hands-on background shapes how we operate. My business partner and I both started as valet attendants, so we understand the work from the ground up. We pay attention to the details: how guests are greeted, how the valet station is presented, how vehicles are handled, and how clearly the team communicates during a busy service.
There’s also a personal responsibility in what we do. When someone hands us their keys, they’re trusting us with their vehicle, their belongings, and their personal space. Respecting that trust is central to the service we want our brand to represent.
I’m most proud of building a company from two locations into a team of more than 40 people while keeping that hands-on perspective. As we grow, we’re putting more focus on management systems, ticketing, and automation to support consistent service.
What I want readers to know is that we approach each location as a relationship. We want to understand the business, its guests, and its daily needs, then build a parking operation that fits. Whether it’s a restaurant’s regular service or a one-time celebration, our goal is to make people feel welcomed and cared for from arrival to departure.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite book, app, or podcast that I turn to. I love learning through what I live every day: the people I meet, the conversations I have, and the challenges that come with building a business. That’s my book and my podcast. There’s always something to learn when you pay attention to what’s happening around you.
