Today we’d like to introduce you to Franky Barrera.
Hi Franky, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started doing Photography two years prior to the pandemic. Once the pandemic hit, I started hitting the streets and capturing moments that probably won’t ever happen again. Sometime after that I was in introduced to portrait/model by a fellow photographer and since then I have spend time trying to capture different moments
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, I feel like we all struggle in our art at the beginning and later on the road gets a little easier. As for me. The hardest part was trying to keep people interested in my art before I start doing portraits I Did Steert Photography and people were not as interested as much as they are with my portrait, Photography.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a photographer who specializes in portraits and I am known for that, but also I’m open to doing other aspects of our Photography as well.
What sets me apart from other photographers and what I’m proud of is being able to catch the moments that the Model sometimes does not expect to be captured and seeing there reaction
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Being a big Photographer in the industry working with more well-known people in the industry such as celebrities and other photographers, and even still with regular people keep making people smile and stay humble
