Hi Damante , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m D’Amante Cottom, a 25-year-old social media influencer and content creator from Sewickley, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh. I’ve built a growing presence on TikTok and Instagram, where I’m known for my food and comedy content, reaction videos, and authentic personality. Over time, my creativity and consistency have led me to work with major brands like kingpalm , c4 energy, Sixstar, Gatorade ,Nike, glo beverages, and Ethika.

Beyond social media, I’ve appeared as a photo double in American Rust and as an extra in Southpaw. Also I appeared as an extra in mayor of Kingstown & I’m passionate about fashion, entrepreneurship, and using my platform to inspire others. Most importantly, I’m focused on building generational wealth for my daughter and setting an example of hard work, growth, and positivity.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing fatherhood, social media, and entrepreneurship comes with a lot of late nights and trial and error. There were times when the support wasn’t there, or when content didn’t perform the way I hoped, but I kept learning and staying consistent. Every setback taught me something about patience, creativity, and focus.

I’m a social media influencer and content creator from Sewickley, Pennsylvania. I’ve built my brand around fashion, comedy, and lifestyle — mixing entertainment with authenticity. I’m partnered and affiliated with brands like Nike,, and Ethika, and I also do reaction videos, food content, and comedy skits that show my real personality. I’m also a Tiktokstar & effect creator I have over 12 million views on Snapchat Spotlight and 6 million on effect house

What I’m most proud of is the fact that I built everything from the ground up. I didn’t have a blueprint or a team at first — just consistency, creativity, and belief in myself. Now, my content has reached millions of views across TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, and I’m continuing to grow while building generational wealth for my daughter.

What sets me apart is my realness. I don’t try to be like anyone
I let my story, my humor, and my everyday life shine through my content. People relate to that energy because it’s genuine. I mix hustle with heart, and I think that’s what keeps people connected to what I do.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being real is what’s gotten me this far. People can tell when you’re genuine, and that’s what makes them connect with you. I don’t fake my story or try to be someone I’m not I just stay true to myself and what I believe in. That authenticity built trust with my audience and opened a lot of doors for me.
