Hi Charlie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I launched StartDME in 2020 with the goal of helping people build their own DME businesses. What began as a simple idea quickly revealed a challenge: there was very little reliable information available online about how to get started in this industry. That gap inspired me to pivot and position myself as a consultant—offering the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to help others successfully establish and grow their own DME companies.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, it’s been smooth road so far. I do have competition in this industry and that sometimes becomes a challenge to do better for my clients. Often times I found myself wanting to quit and sell the business but I kept pressing on and pursuing the challenge. I’m a very competitive person and I don’t give up very easy. I think that perseverance set me up for the success I’ve had with my business.
