Meet Bryce Green

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Green.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Bryce. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
So long story short, I was born in Gettysburg, PA growing up influenced by 90’s Hip-Hop, R&B, 80’s soft rock, and more which I feel all helped mold me into the artist I am today. In highschool, I moved to Saint Louis where I spent about ten years of my life, and that’s when I started writing poetry that further mutated into creating full songs. Within those ten years in Saint Louis the journey has been CRAZY, I worked on a project with Diamond Producer Jay E (Nelly’s “Country Grammer”) alongside Murphy Lee, Chingy, Tef Poe and more, Opened up for big artist like 2Chains with big-time choreographer Roland “Ro-Casso” Tabor (Usher, Jacob Latimore, Omarion) and really just began branching out from that point.

I saved up money, dropped everything and moved to Nashville two years ago and since then, it has been nothing but amazing. Linked up with 81mAAntra hip hop/pop production duo consisting of Eric Olson and Sammy Martin (Conor Matthews, JP Clark (Bryce Vine/7715), Lauren Larue (Arizona Zervas – Roxanne), Sid Tipton (Timbaland/ Maluma), Nick Jonas, Michael Pollack (Maroon 5/ Lauv), Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande/ Juice Wrld), Gabby Barrett, Scootie (Social House/ Ariana Grande), Kelly Clarkson, Thomas Rhett, Dan & Shay, Tobias Jesso Jr (Adele/ Niall Horan), Lennon Stella, and many more.) and we’ve been creating magic for over a year and a half now and are looking to make some major waves at the top of 2021 so be on the lookout starting January. The future is looking bright and I’m excited for what’s to come.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I’ve been in 2 lawsuits in the midst of my career, a terrible production agreement that I through the mercy of God was able to be relieved from unscathed and lost SOOOOOOO much money with producers, PR’s with nothing to show for the money spent, etc. Yeah, it’s definitely been a rough road, but I remained resilient through it all because I didn’t expect this dream to come easy and in the end God puts us all through test that he knows we can withstand and that will mold us into who it is we are meant to become. So I welcome trials and tribulations just as openly as I do blessings because in the end, they will both work for the greater good.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I, Bryce Green am a music artist: Singer/Rapper/Songwriter and I also have a Publishing Company “Golden Lines in Ki Sounds”. What sets me apart from other artists and songwriters is my versatility, I can get in a room with an array of different artists from Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeat, Country even and contribute to magic being made. I love doing what I call “Soul Searching” which is never before hearing a track and getting on the microphone and flowing to the record creating melodies and words strictly from what I feel off of instinctive impulse.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the shy kid who was always into sports, eating healthy and gamed excessively! All I wanted to do was play the video game, it was almost sickening. You would also catch me bike riding in a creek catching crawfish and salamander for fun. I was always in the studio with my mother who did music, but I never honestly took interest in it until my sophomore year of high school, I looked to fulfill the musical legacy of her and my father who passed away when I was younger.
