Meet Brittney Yarbrough of Woodland hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Yarbrough.

Hi Brittney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Brittney’s love of beauty started early. At 13, while growing up on the hockey rink and not feeling especially drawn to girly stuff, she became the friend everyone turned to for help getting ready. She realized she had a natural eye for hair and makeup and a knack for helping people feel great.

After high school, Brittney followed that spark to cosmetology school, earned her license, and continued her training at Joe Blasco Makeup School in Los Feliz, where she studied special effects makeup. From there, she worked in production, creating hair and makeup looks for commercials, movies, fashion shows, and the Tournament of Roses. She also brought her skills to weddings, helping people feel their best for life’s big moments.

Alongside her production work, Brittney continued working in salons, where she honed her skills, grew a loyal clientele, and developed lasting relationships with her clients. As her career grew, she expanded her services with training in lashes, brows, and microblading. After more than 19 years in the industry, she opened Alluring Bombshell Salon in Woodland Hills, a welcoming space where women and men feel cared for and confident.

Today, Brittney also shares her expertise as an educator for a hair brand, appearing at hair shows to demonstrate her craft and connect with fellow beauty professionals. Outside the salon, she loves concerts, hockey games, and football games. Her favorite role is being mom to her one-and-a-half-year-old son. She brings energy, heart, and a little bombshell sparkle to everything she does.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a clientele and growing my career took patience, consistency, and a lot of belief in myself. There were times I had to step outside my comfort zone, keep learning, and trust that each experience was helping me grow. Balancing my work, business, and family life has also taught me to stay flexible and keep moving forward. Every challenge has helped shape me into a stronger artist and business owner, and made me even more grateful for the career and community I’ve built.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a hairstylist and beauty professional who loves helping people feel confident and like the best version of themselves. I work with both women and men, and my services include haircuts, color, styling, lashes, brows, and microblading. I also share my experience as an educator for a hair brand, appearing at hair shows to demonstrate techniques and connect with other beauty professionals.
I’m most proud of building a loyal clientele and creating Alluring Bombshell Salon—a welcoming space where clients can relax, feel cared for, and leave feeling beautiful. What sets me apart is the personal connection I build with each person. I listen to what they want, bring creativity and experience to the process, and want every visit to feel fun, comfortable, and uplifting.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the beauty industry becoming even more personalized. Clients want looks that fit their lifestyle, feel like them, and keep their hair healthy. Trends and technology will keep changing how people find inspiration, but great listening, trust, and the connection between a stylist and client will always matter. I also think continued education will be important as new products and techniques emerge. I love learning and sharing what I know, and I’m excited to keep growing with the industry while helping every client leave feeling confident and beautiful.
