Meet Artem Korolev of 6.20

Today we’d like to introduce you to Artem Korolev

Hi Artem, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began in Moscow, where I built a career as a TV presenter, working for MTV and other networks, and served as an ambassador for brands like Dior and Prada. While my work was exciting, by the time I turned 32, I realized it wasn’t truly fulfilling. I wanted to do something bigger—something that could genuinely contribute to improving lives.

So, I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles to start fresh. I decided to pivot into tech because I believe it has the power to transform lives and shape the future. I co-founded a tech AI company, assembled an incredible team, and began developing our first product. Over two years later, we’re now on a clear path to bringing it to market. While I can’t share all the details just yet, this journey has been the most challenging, fulfilling, and transformative experience of my life.

Starting this company has given me a profound sense of purpose, and I truly believe that having a purpose is the driving force behind personal growth and meaningful change.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never a smooth road when you’re truly committed to growth. Challenges, I believe, are an inevitable part of becoming your best self.

For me, one of the biggest struggles was completely redefining my identity. Letting go of a well-established version of myself—a TV presenter, a public figure—wasn’t easy. Figuring out who I truly was at 32 was deeply challenging. But it also gave me the opportunity to start writing my own story, free from any preconceived notions or conditioning. I became completely free, and that freedom has been one of the most profound experiences of my life.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I can’t go into the details of my startup yet, as we are currently in stealth mode, but I can share a bit. It’s a mental health tech company with a consumer product linked to it. I believe we have far more control over what happens to us on a daily basis than we often realize. I’ve faced some pretty rough experiences in my life that have solidified this truth for me—there is always a way to grow tremendously from hardships, to build strength of character, and ultimately, to gain control over the quality of our lives. This is deeply inspiring, and it all begins from within, with the thoughts we think, the feelings we experience, and the actions we take.

I believe we will be able to support people on this journey of reclaiming control over their lives, but in a very fun and entertaining way. I think our concept is like a Trojan horse—we trick your mind into thinking it’s all just fun, and without you having any expectations, by engaging with our product, you will simply start to feel better about yourself. As a result, your life is going to feel so, so different.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has certainly played a role in my life and business, but I believe it’s not entirely random. While there are elements of luck that are beyond our control, I think we can actively create opportunities for it to find us.

Luck tends to favor those who take action—those who choose to reach out, share ideas, believe in themselves, and step away from inertia. By engaging with the world in an active and open way, we create fertile ground for luck to enter our lives. It’s about being proactive and present, putting ourselves out there, and trusting that the right opportunities will align when we’re ready to seize them.
