Meet Arnie Gilles of Exquisite Finds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arnie Gilles.

Arnie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started selling clothes online back in 2013. We would buy our stocks in Thailand, personally picked by me and my business partner who is based in the Philippines. Fast forward today, I am a Personal Shopper for my clients in the Philippines. Some people from there who wants to get updated with the latest sneakers, bags, clothes, shoes and etc. they would reach out for me and ask me to buy the stuff that they want that’s only available here in the U.S.

I am also part of the 1% who serves this country. I’m currently serving in the U.S. Navy — Juggling my civilian job, being in the military and online selling kept me very busy. But I’m trying to keep everything in rhythm as much as I can.

Has it been a smooth road?
As what Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.”

Hell no. There’s no easy way. You have to work hard for everything. There were a lot of struggles. Number one is Time Management.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Exquisite Finds – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We, in Exquisite Finds. We mostly specialize in purchasing hard to find items or limited edition ones for our clients. Since most of our clients are from the Philippines, we are building up a reputation for 100% customer satisfaction. What sets us apart from others is that we go the extra mile for them just to grant their wants and needs.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The best thing about LA is diversity, don’t you just love it? I have friends from all walks of life, different races and cultural backgrounds and it’s amazing how we work hand in hand together, setting our differences aside.

Least about LA? Probably traffic and the homeless epidemic.
