Meet Ahnjel Ali of Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse in Culver City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ahnjel Ali.

Ahnjel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been a Licensed Acupuncturist/Herbalist in LA for 23 years at this point. I created Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse after being in practice for 20 years and helping my patients with a wide range of health problems. I always talk to my patients about their diets, most of my patients have chronic health conditions and diet plays a crucial role. Over those first 20 years, I had numerous patients tell me that I should write down what I told them. Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse is the result.

It is a cleanse that you eat lots of food on! You do not starve yourself on this cleanse. You eat 3 meals per day and snack also if you feel hungry.

I feel that the greatest value from Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse is that it is a teaching tool. It teaches people how to eat very healthfully. From doing this program you will know how to prepare very healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners, for yourself and for your family. You will learn what healthy snacks are. There are also recipes for smoothies, vegetable juices, and salad dressings.

I am very proud that my number 1 goal that Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse be a teaching tool has been accomplished by everyone who has done this program. I wanted it to be different from most of the other cleanses that are available. The majority of cleanses just have people starving by not eating real food for a number of days and then only getting calories from some sort of powder that they mix into a drink that the company sent them. Where is the value in that? What has anyone learned through that process? They learned that they don’t like starving! But, they haven’t learned better eating habits.

Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse is a blue-print to follow for 30 days. It is in journal format, it lists Day 1 and has every recipe for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The same for Day 2, Day 3 and so on for the whole 30 days. It is your reference to follow. And lists also snacks, salad dressing, vegetable juices and smoothies.

Many people have repeated Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse because they felt that great! And -it is a Do-Able Cleanse! I have heard from people that they can’t even eat that much food in a day! I have heard from people that they did not crave sugar. That they loved the foods they ate on Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse.

Another factor that makes Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse successful in getting results is that it comes with 4 weeks of herbal formulas that I designed specifically for this Cleanse. These herbs work into deeper layers in your body while you go through this Cleanse. This Cleanse comes with herbs because that is how I have gotten my patients healthy and I know it works!

The results for people have been: weight loss; clearer thinking; more energy; over all feeling much better; no more headaches or migraines; reduction in body aches; reduction in inflammation; reduction in blood sugar levels; no more sugar cravings; better skin, better hair.

Has it been a smooth road?
Developing Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse was smooth since that is how I have lived my life, raised my family and gotten my patients healthy for now 23 years.

The challenges have been in educating people about their food choices and the Microbiome that food creates, getting people to make conscious food choices and looking at their emotional attachments to the foods they eat.

The majority of people do not think long-term about their health and connect the effects from the food they are eating today with how that creates their unique Microbiome,( your own mini-ecosystem and the organisms in and on your body). I tell people, and my patients, that everything you eat alters your Microbiome, either allowing healthy or unhealthy bacteria to survive.

Maintaining a healthy Microbiome does result in a healthy functioning brain, low blood pressure, low cholesterol, healthy blood glucose levels, healthy weight and on and on, the list goes.

Another challenge is teaching people to make conscious choices about the foods they eat. We all have very packed schedules and live in a society that demands instant results. It is the perfect storm for a society to not put any time into food preparation or even thought about meals that will need to be gotten through the course of that day. Instead, we can continue to go from 1 event to another through the whole day because…there is always fast food, an instant meal. With that available, why should anyone put time into planning and preparing food?

Another challenge is that food is a necessity and it is a daily experience that gives us pleasure. We all count on getting pleasure every day from the food we eat. Everyone wants to feel that pleasure, and eating is one of the true joys we get to experience as humans and it is important to not feel “deprived”. This leads us to want foods that will supply us that pleasurable sensation. Our brains derive pleasure from sugar, salt and fats. Our reward centers get stimulated by these ingredients and the billion-dollar food industry knows that. There are even foods that the food industry calls “Super Saturated Foods” which are loaded up with a few different sugars, salt and fats. It is an experience that has big impact to your brain when you eat it, and of course that is why you repeatedly buy that product and can even get addicted to it. Which is why their food scientists get paid a lot to come up with foods just like that. Often there are emotions tied to why someone is grabbing these foods to begin with and it is hard to look at those reasons and for many people hard to do away with a crutch.

So, those are the challenges. And they come along with trying to create a healthier world.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse came to be as a result of 20 years of helping my patients with chronic degenerative health problems. I love being an Acupuncturist/Herbalist! Right there you can see I have a different perspective about the human body and health. And then, even in my field, I have a very different practice. I custom make my herbal formulas for my patients. I have an herb room with almost 300 individual herbs, so I know my herbs really well! I had a mentor named Dr. Matt Van Benschoten, I learned a tremendous amount from him and will always be grateful for the genius he was.

My herbal pharmacy of almost 300 individual herbs sets me apart from almost all Acupuncturists in LA. Another factor that separates me is I do not give my patients herbal formulas that are pre-made. I know that every herb in my patient’s formula will make a difference to their health. I specialize in auto-immune problems such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder, MS, Lupus and thyroid issues. Digestive disorders, like IBS, IBD, Crohn’s Disease, Colitis. And hormonal imbalances, PMS, PMDD, Menopause, Infertility.

I talk a lot to my patients about their Microbiome, their body’s own ecosystem. I talk to them about how it gets effected by their lifestyle. I talk to them about why it matters for their long term health.

I am most proud that my patients, number one, get better and that number two, I hear often what an important difference I have made in their life. I have seen for my patients a better quality of life.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Los Angeles is great for many reasons! I sincerely appreciate that people in LA accept each other for who they are. That is very important to me. I knew I was a little different from the other kids in how I thought and at a young age I knew I needed to live in an environment that supported me for who I am. So, what do ya know, I was always a little different and then became an Acupuncturist…who woulda guessed?!

I love that for the different choices I have made for how I want to live my life and how I have chosen to bring up my kids, is supported by our life here in LA. I have access to very healthy foods! My Husband and I have been able to bring our kids to great museums, different sporting events, lots of different types of events and creative events as well, and through that exposure they have learned a lot! We have friends and our kids have friends that we love that we could only have met here in LA!

The only thing I dislike about LA… you guessed it! The traffic!!! UGH!

I am about to do Ahnjel’s Full Body 30 Day Vegan Cleanse for the 5th time! I love it, and feel great during and after it. I highly recommend it. And I use the recipes in the book throughout the year, not just when I’m on the cleanse, they are that good.
