Meet Aaron Owens of Y.G.L Clothing in Hollywood

A.Owens The Stylist & Y.G.L Clothing LLC is a fashionable and motivational company established on December 1st, 2013. Rebranded and built-in Atlanta Georgia on February 27th, 2015 Y.G.L Clothing is an urban wear composed for designer, boutique owners, artists, models and more.

Making and building a brand for quality products for majority of any active lifestyles. Y.G.L Clothing plans to take urban streetwear & business wear to new levels in the fashion industry.

Urban Street Wear Apparel representation of God and life-changing experiences. 20% of proceeds are given to homeless and less fortunate and families that’s unable to afford funeral arrangements for their children.

I have constantly been rewarded for hard work with promotion and increase responsibilities.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Some of my challenges along the way.

I had no food and slept in an empty apartment for months.

I had No support Starting off so I had to push myself into believing in my dream.

I struggled with maintaining my finances to keep my businesses up and running.

I struggled with lack of knowledge in the fashion industry and had to teach myself.

Y.G.L Clothing is a motivational urban street brand. Dedicated to my first cousin Vernon Evans who passed back in 2009.

I run every part of my business from inventory, campaign shoots, Collaborations, management with over 150 brand Ambassador models, advertisements and more.

I’m a professional wardrobe Stylist and designer.

I’m most proud of not giving up and landing a Partnership with Walmart.

What sets me apart from others is that I’m never afraid to stand out and be different from the normal.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been creative and talented growing up. I have been on my own since the age of 13 years old so that pushed me into having a motivational personality. Also, it built an early maturity level of interest.
