Life & Work with Talea Jackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Talea Jackson. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Talea Jackson’s life is a true testament to the power of hard work and determination. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, to a Nigerian-Mexican father and an Italian-Russian mother, she followed her passion for dancing all the way to the East Coast at the young age of 17. After two years of touring, she made a bold move to create her own convention, the Brand Ambassador Convention, which combined the worlds of experiential marketing and influencer marketing. The convention was a smashing success, attracting over 400 attendees in its first year. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic brought things to a halt, but that didn’t stop Talea from making waves in the entertainment industry. She was cast in the hit Emmy-nominated series, “A House Divided,” where she played the main antagonist responsible for plotting the murder of a wealthy family member. This role was a major turning point in her career and led her to the bright lights of Los Angeles, where she continues to build her personal brand, “STFUjustbehappy,” her sologan being feel your feels and stfujustbehappy while pursuing her passion for acting. With her unstoppable drive and talent, Talea Jackson is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment world.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been smooth, moving on your own at a young age without any real guidance was a huge challenge. Although I am proud of everything I’ve overcome. I now understand the importance of having role models and a strong community around you. Which is while I am partnered with Mode Korevadic candles to help shed some light on the dark side of mental health and use my platform to showcase diversity and inclusivity in everything I create.

I’m known for my social media @stfujustbehappy, modeling for various campaigns such as K.Swiss and Lyft and the show a house divided, my convention, The Brand Ambassador Convention and candles with Mode Korvardeic. Creating a new podcast coming soon!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Oh my gosh! I am so very lucky. I was so lucky to have had the wits to survive and thrive on my own for so very long. Lucky to have met the right people, lucky to be at the right place at the right time. And lucky to have the audacity to want more then what my small town I grew up in had to offer. Luck has been like 85% of my life. One of my favorite sayings is What’s mine is already mine.
