Today we’d like to introduce you to Precious Monèt.
Hi Precious, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey honestly started from experiencing ineffective leadership firsthand. Not to toot my own horn, but I knew I was talented, hardworking, and capable. Still, I found myself in environments where leadership created more stress than support. Over time, I realized I wasn’t the only one experiencing it.
I started seeing so many great employees leave, not because they didn’t love the work or weren’t committed, but because of reactive and unprepared leadership. People don’t leave organizations, they leave leaders.
That experience is what led me into human resources and leadership development. I kept wanting to understand why so many workplaces struggled with communication, accountability, burnout, and high turnover. The more experience I gained, the more I realized most businesses weren’t struggling because people lacked talent; they were struggling because leaders were too involved in the day-to-day and not empowering their teams to fully operate in their roles.
I kept seeing CEOs and leadership teams stuck in reactive environments, constantly putting out fires, carrying the pressure of the business, and struggling to build teams that could operate without depending on them for everything.
That’s what led me to create BHS Consulting Firm. I wanted to build something that helped businesses strengthen leadership from the inside out. Not just through policies or surface-level training, but by helping leaders communicate better, create accountability, develop their teams, and build healthier work environments.
Today, BHS Consulting Firm helps CEOs build power without pressure by turning reactive teams into operators. Our work focuses on leadership development, employee retention, workplace environment, and helping businesses create the structure needed to grow without everything falling back on the CEO.
As my career continued to grow, so did my passion for helping leaders lead differently. I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses across multiple industries, helping them reduce turnover, strengthen leadership teams, improve employee engagement, and create more structure internally. Seeing businesses shift from constant chaos and burnout to more aligned, accountable, and productive environments is the part of the work I enjoy most.
Today, my work has expanded into leadership consulting, executive coaching, speaking, and creating spaces where leaders can step back, reset, and have real conversations about leadership, growth, and sustainability in business.
I’m still growing, still learning, and still evolving as a leader and entrepreneur myself. But everything I do is rooted in helping businesses and leaders operate with more clarity, structure, and intention. I truly believe businesses perform better when people feel supported, leadership is aligned, and employees know what’s expected of them.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help businesses build environments where people actually want to stay, grow, and perform at a high level.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building something different in a space where a lot of companies still don’t realize leadership impacts everything. Most businesses focus on performance, but ignore the environment leaders are creating until turnover is high, employees are disengaged, or the CEO is completely burned out.
Entrepreneurship itself has also stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. There were moments I questioned myself, moments when things moved more slowly than I wanted, and moments when I had to learn to stop carrying everything on my own. As someone who naturally likes structure and getting things done, learning how to step back, trust the process, and not operate in survival mode all the time was a huge lesson for me.
More than anything, it deepened my faith. I had to lean into God in a completely different way and trust Him even when I couldn’t see the full picture yet. Entrepreneurship will humble you, stretch you, and force you to grow personally just as much as professionally.
I’ve also learned that growth isn’t just about building a business; it’s about building something that doesn’t consume you in the process. That changed the way I look at leadership, boundaries, structure, and the kind of environments I want to help businesses create.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At BHS Consulting Firm, we specialize in leadership development, employee retention, workplace environment, and helping businesses create more structure internally so that everything doesn’t continue falling back on the CEO. A big part of our work is helping businesses move from reactive environments into more aligned, accountable, and empowered teams.
What I’m most known for is helping CEOs build power without pressure by turning reactive teams into operators. A lot of businesses grow faster than their leadership structure, and over time, the CEO becomes the one carrying everything, making every decision, solving every problem, and constantly operating in the weeds. We help businesses strengthen leadership, improve accountability, and create teams that can actually function without depending on the CEO for everything.
I’m most proud of the impact the work has on both the business and the people inside of it. Seeing turnover decrease, employee engagement improve, leaders become more confident, and CEOs finally regain balance is probably the most rewarding part for me. I’ve seen firsthand how leadership affects people’s lives, not just business performance.
What sets me apart is my approach to leadership. I don’t believe leadership is just about titles or authority. I believe strong leadership creates environments where people can perform, communicate, grow, and still be held accountable. A lot of companies focus heavily on performance and systems, but overlook the human side of leadership. I believe businesses perform better when leadership is aligned, expectations are clear, and people feel supported.
At the core of everything we do is helping leaders lead with empathy, drive accountability, and profit with purpose.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur just like my father. I’ve always been ambitious and independent. I liked structure, figuring things out, planning, and helping people solve problems. I was also very observant. I paid attention to people, environments, how people treated others, and how certain leaders or authority figures made people feel.
I’ve always been the person people came to for advice, guidance, or help getting organized and figuring out their next move. Even now, that still shows up in the work I do today.
As I got older, I realized I naturally take on a lot and like to make sure things get done the right way. Entrepreneurship really taught me how to slow down, trust God more, and not feel like I have to carry everything on my own all the time.
Outside of work, I love traveling, trying new restaurants (I’m a foodie), and spending quality time with the people I love. I’m big on experiences, good food, good conversations, and creating memories.
