Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. One of the hardest parts has been leaving my entire life behind to pursue this dream. I moved countries on my own, far away from my family, which is something that still weighs on me every day. I even had to sell my horse—something that was a huge part of my identity growing up—just to take this leap. Starting over in a new place like Los Angeles came with a lot of uncertainty, loneliness, and pressure to constantly prove myself.
On top of that, the acting and modeling industries are incredibly demanding and often unpredictable. There are moments of rejection, waiting, and self-doubt that you have to push through while still showing up confidently every day. Building a name from scratch, navigating visas, managing my Matcha business in Germany from abroad, and finding the right representation all come with their own challenges. But every struggle has shaped me, strengthened my resilience, and reminded me why I chose this path in the first place.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an actress, model, and founder of MATCHALLDAY. My work is rooted in resilience and discipline, something I learned early through horseback riding—literally falling and getting back up. That mindset has stayed with me in everything I do.
I left my life in Germany to start over in Los Angeles, which hasn’t been easy, but it’s shaped how I approach my career—with patience, persistence, and a lot of heart.
What sets me apart is how I was raised. I grew up in Germany in a Persian household, which gave me a unique mix of structure, warmth, and perspective. My parents instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility, respect, and emotional depth, and I carry that into my work and the way I connect with people.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Success is very subjective—everyone sees it differently. For me, it’s always been something that keeps moving. No matter where I am, I feel like I can go higher, do better. I’ve never really been able to fully settle or feel “done” with my own performance. That can be a weakness sometimes, but also a strength—it keeps me pushing.
I think the most important quality for me is resilience. I’ve had to start over, be uncomfortable, and keep going even when things felt uncertain or lonely. But also staying grounded in who I am—how I was raised, my values, and the way I connect with people. That balance of always striving for more while staying true to myself is what drives me forward.
