Life & Work with Nina Bergman of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina Bergman

Hi Nina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and left at 14 to chase my dreams. This journey took me to London on a scholarship for a year, then Moscow, and eventually New York City. While supporting myself and studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I gained valuable experience that ultimately led me to Los Angeles.

In LA, I’ve built a multifaceted career. I started as a singer in a rock band signed with Warner Bros. Records, modeled, and eventually found my footing as an actor. I’ve starred in several films and am excited about two upcoming projects releasing in 2025, which I’m both producing and acting in. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute as a writer and singer on some of these upcoming projects.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been an uphill battle all the way, with plenty of “luck” that I created myself through hard work and determination. Everything I’ve achieved has come from relentless effort.

I was told I was too short to model, yet I managed to land over 500 campaigns. I’m dyslexic, but I worked through it to build a successful acting career. I don’t play any instruments, but I’ve written more songs than I can count—long after I stopped keeping track—in a genre, “female rock,” that many claim is dead.

Now, I’m writing and directing some of my upcoming projects, defying the odds once again. And the list doesn’t stop there.

I thrive on doing the impossible, following my heart, and pursuing what I love. I push myself to take on challenges that scare me, stretching my limits both as an artist and as a human being.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actor drawn to physically demanding roles, often portraying characters that empower women. From playing Battery in Call of Duty to starring in the action-packed film Hell Hath No Fury, and taking on dramatic roles like in Cold Meat, I’ve built a reputation for portraying strong, multifaceted characters.

Outside of acting, I’ve fronted hard rock bands, embracing the energy and intensity of the genre. I’m also known for my commitment to vigorous physical training and my love of motorcycles—you’ll often find me riding.

What truly defines me is my embrace of contradictions. I’m a passionate advocate for a compassionate, vegan lifestyle while embodying strength and resilience in everything I do, on-screen and off.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Making a difference and raising awareness about veganism are at the core of everything I do. I believe in sharing my gifts to inspire change and create impact. I’m passionate about working on projects with meaningful messages—stories that resonate and makes you think.

Through every endeavor, I strive to grow and become the best version of myself, both as an artist and as a person. For me, it’s about aligning my work with my values and leaving a positive mark on the world.
