Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always embraced life with a deep passion for creativity, culture, and business. Born into a French heritage rich in artistic influence, I developed an eye for beauty, elegance, and design from an early age. My journey has taken me across industries and continents, allowing me to explore and cultivate my diverse talents.

At just 18, after being crowned Miss London, I began a professional modeling career that took me around the world. My travels exposed me to a variety of cultures, luxury hotels, and breathtaking architecture, all of which shaped my refined taste and unique design aesthetic. Over time, I realized that interior design was the perfect avenue to blend my artistic sensibilities with my entrepreneurial drive, leading me to establish Maison Jolie Designs, a high-end luxury interior design firm.

But my entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. I have always been drawn to new challenges and opportunities. In 2019, I stepped into the culinary world and opened Coco Queen, a French rotisserie restaurant in West Hollywood. The restaurant quickly gained popularity, and I was affectionately named the Chicken Queen by many. Unfortunately, like many businesses, Coco Queen was deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and was forced to close in 2021.

In addition to interior design and hospitality, I have pursued multiple business ventures. I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent and a real estate investor, constantly seeking unique properties that blend luxury with function. I was also featured in Airbnb Magazine as a Super Host, showcasing my ability to transform living spaces into breathtaking experiences. My creativity extends to fashion and accessories as well—I founded bling7, a brand specializing in Swarovski crystal strips and rhinestone embellishments for luxury items such as cars, phones, and cameras.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to share my financial journey with the world as a cast member on Season 1 of Netflix’s reality TV show How to Get Rich. The show explored financial vulnerabilities, emotional connections to money, and spending habits, offering a raw and honest look into my approach to wealth and business.

Through my various endeavors, I have had the privilege of working with celebrities and high-profile figures, helping them create spaces and experiences that reflect their personal style and aspirations. But at my core, my greatest passion remains design. Whether I am transforming a home, curating a luxury experience, or bringing a creative vision to life, I am committed to excellence, artistry, and personalization.

I believe that life should be lived beautifully, with spaces, businesses, and experiences that reflect who we truly are. My journey has been one of creativity, resilience, and evolution, and I look forward to continuing to inspire and build a legacy of elegance and innovation.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I grew up in poverty, which taught me resilience and the value of hard work from an early age. Immigrating to America was a huge leap of faith—I arrived with big dreams but no safety net, no family to rely on, and had to build everything from the ground up. Becoming a single mother in a new country only added to the challenges, but it also fueled my determination. I had to hustle relentlessly, not just to provide a good life for my children, but also to support my family back home.

There were moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and times when I questioned if I would make it. Balancing multiple businesses while being a mother required sacrifices, long nights, and constant reinvention. The pandemic was another major hurdle—it forced me to close Coco Queen, a business I had poured my heart into. But through every struggle, I never lost sight of my vision. I learned to adapt, push forward, and find new opportunities.

Every challenge has shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has made me stronger, more creative, and deeply grateful for every success I’ve achieved.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the founder of Maison Jolie Designs, where I specialize in luxury interior design and real estate investments. My design aesthetic is a unique blend of fun, vibrant colors and high-class elegance—think Bridgerton vibes, a fusion of old-world sophistication with rich patterns and bold, beautiful hues. I love bringing spaces to life with personality, charm, and timeless beauty, creating interiors that feel both luxurious and inviting.

Beyond interior design, I have a passion for real estate investment, finding and transforming properties into stunning, high-value spaces. My ability to blend creativity with smart investments has allowed me to build a diverse portfolio and help others do the same.

What sets me apart is my fearless use of color, my eye for intricate detail, and my ability to create spaces that truly reflect the personalities of my clients. I don’t believe in playing it safe with design—I embrace bold choices, rich textures, and statement pieces that make a home feel like a masterpiece.

I’m most proud of turning my passion into a thriving business, despite the challenges I’ve faced along the way. Seeing my clients’ reactions when they step into a space I’ve designed is the most rewarding part of what I do. My goal is always to create interiors that feel like an extension of who they are—elegant, vibrant, and completely unique.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is to always believe in your dream, never give up, and don’t let anyone’s doubts or negativity hold you back. The road to success is never a straight path—it’s filled with obstacles, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty. But those challenges are what shape you, push you to grow, and teach you resilience.

Mistakes are inevitable, but they are also your greatest teachers. Instead of fearing failure, embrace it as part of the journey. Every misstep is an opportunity to learn, refine your skills, and come back stronger. When I started out, I wish I had known that perfection isn’t the goal—progress is. Sometimes, you have to take risks, trust your instincts, and adapt as you go.

Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you, but don’t seek validation from others. If you have a vision, chase it fearlessly. The most successful people in the world didn’t get there by playing it safe—they got there by believing in themselves when no one else did. Stay persistent, stay passionate, and keep pushing forward, no matter what.
