Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathy Rose.
Kathy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started from a theatre arts background, and painting in my 20s. Which grew into jewelry design, then evolved into opening up galleries where I could represent my friends as artists.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
For me, all of my artists and collaborators I have acquired, have been through word of mouth, either by friends or family or within the industry. I’ve also been mentoring artists throughout that time. Our artist residency program at the gallery and showroom is very similar to a mentorship. Our showroom is also both retail and wholesale.
