Today we’d like to introduce you to Kahren Torosyan

Hi Kahren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Kahren Torosyan and I am a digital creator and social strategist based in Los Angeles, CA. My story as a creative begins roughly seven years ago when I launched my personal blog, ‘KahrensPerspective.com,’ my-then, main creative outlet where I shared my love for fashion, lifestyle, beauty and travel. As someone who loves all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into digital media, my website was almost entirely ran myself, including the pages’ designs, written posts, product linking and much of the photography.

Though KahrensPerspective.com is no longer active, it is my blog that further inspired me to begin sharing on Instagram more, which has now become my main platform. Instagram has always been my favorite social media platform and I am very happy with the community I have built on there.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Working as a creative is not always a smooth road, and I am sure many of my fellow creatives can agree. While there are many pros in being a content creator, there are definitely cons as well. The two I would personally like to highlight are ‘burnout’ and the relationships with ‘social media trends’. These two avenues are where I find social media can lead to a slippery slope. On one hand, as creatives we are allowed to be creative but sometimes burnouts occur and being in a creative rut is definitely an unpleasant period of time. Additionally, social media trends also have their cons because while it is important to understand trends, we also need to remember that staying true to ourselves is how we are going to build genuine online communities.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a digital creator and social strategist who highlights fashion, lifestyle, beauty/grooming and travel within my content. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of partnering with brands such as Banana Republic, Chanel Beauty, FRAME Denim, Creed Fragrance, ALDO Shoes, Hotel Californian and more.

What sets me apart from others is my personal aesthetic + personal vision for content. This is also something that I think sets every creator apart from one another and what makes each of us unique.
