Life & Work with James Joffrion Jr of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Joffrion Jr.

Hi James, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into acting started in college after I changed my major to Drama Theatre Arts. Physical therapy wasn’t my passion but I always love creative writing and imitating others through character voices or acting out scenes with friends to share a laugh. So happy I followed my passion, it’s been rewarding me ever since those college days.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh no the road has not been smooth at all haha! It has been fun, interesting and challenging, I lost a lot over the years. From getting kicked out my apartment, losing car after car, getting fired from multiple jobs, my origin story is a wild one. But I kept going because I love what I do and of course I want a better life then what I came from and been through.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an actor or you can call me an artist. You have probably seen me on my podcast along with my fellow co-host titled ” The Just Acting Up Show.” On there we interview fellow artist of the entertainment industry from indie films and streaming shows and films. You probably seen my viral Pop The Balloon moment from Episode 69. You might have also seen me in the Street Fighter 6 Commercial sitting next to Lil Wayne, Toyota commercial, Concora Credit commercial, Degree Deodorant commercial. A handful of indie/film festival films. Probably saw a viral video of me for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game. Also most proud of being a part of the cast for Mike Flanagan upcoming Excorcist Martyrs film starring Scarlett Johannson and many other A-Listers.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Oh simple you can inbox me on my social media ( Facebook or Instagram) or contact my agents through IMDB or email me or my podcast. Oh also please share and subscribe to our Just Acting Up YouTube channel, it really helps us out a lot!
